We had a great time visiting. The house was exactly as pictured. There is a bedroom and bathroom on each level so everyone had their own space.

Helen GA week get away

Overall was a great trip. There were a few things to note. The address took us to a back gate of the property which we could not access. We found out that you have to go to Helen first then put in the cabin address. The cabin is huge and has plenty of space. Note there are not televisions in the bedrooms which was disappointing. We watched tv down stairs then finished the movie on a laptop. The hot tub was ok as noted in other reviews missing head rests is an older unit.Helen was a fun place to shop and eat. We went on a hike to Hardman Farms and toured the mansion and property which was awesome.

Not Bad but Not Great

This property looks fantastic from the outside, but it needs some updating. CONS:Some of the blinds were broken and taped. The oven set off the smoke detector when we were preheating it to bake potatoes. The tub on the main floor is missing the plug so a bath cannot be taken. We were going to grill steaks one night but upon opening, the grates were so dirty. We tried to find a metal brush to scrub or clean but there was not one. The coffee pot was broken and leaking. Once I let the property manager know, they brought a new one. The television on the main floor has a line across the bottom during watching any program. They provide ONE dishtowel and ONE washcloth for the kitchen. Later on, we are looking in a little bag by the sink and it had a scrubby and dish cleaner. It was our fault we didn't find it sooner. Lastly, upon entering, the whole house had a "musky" smell. It did dissipate eventually.PROS:It's located in a really nice area of Helen. The beds were nice but not enough blankets, just sheets and bedspreads on them. *Note for the elderly, the stairs are steep. It was a pretty property from the outside, but it just needs someone to go in and fix all the little issues that just make you go "UGGGHHHH". The house has a washer and dryer if you need to do your clothes, but they don't provide a small amount of detergent so bring your own. Water gets hot and the air/heat works nicely.

Soooooo Wonderful

What an amazing place, a beautiful atmosphere. So many nooks to sit in a rocking chair and enjoy peace. A pool table and hot tub to relax. We definitely want to come back!!!

Nice stay

Enjoyable stay very near Helen. Property was clean and cozy. Plenty of room with three floors. Only negative was there were no fireplace tools for the wood burning fireplace.

Wonderful stay at Lazy Bear Lair

Helen, Georgia is a fun Germany themed town and we loved all the Christmas decorations and shops. The food was awesome! Our cabin was laid out perfectly with all of us having our own private space when needed. We had everything we needed in the cabin and everything worked great. We will definitely be back!

Amazing girls weekend getaway

My friends and I had the best time at the cabin this past weekend for the Helen Christmas Market. The cabin was clean and well stocked. I felt supported the whole time if there were to be any issues. Will definitely book again!

Great location for our family traveling together to Helen. Cabin was quiet and secluded but close enough to pop into town or the next town over for various activities.

Amazing Cabin Weekend

We had the best time in Helen GA! Your property is beautiful and it was the perfect size for my girls weekend. Everything was great and the cabin so beautiful, we enjoyed the hot tub, the game room and just relaxing in the living area! We will definitely be back!

Great Cabin super convenient to town

Regina was amazing to work with!! I made a huge mistake and booked the wrong dates, she worked with me to address my mistake! The cabin was clean, comfy and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!!

Lazy Bear Lair in Helen

We stayed at Lazy Bear Lair for a couple of days before a family reunion. The property was wonderful and exactly what it was advertised to be. Other than rain for both days, the trip was wonderful and quiet.
