Visit

The picture shown is NOT the suite we stayed in. The kitchen tap continuously dripped. There is no AC in the unit and the fan they had in there did not work, when we notified the owner he came to drop off another fan. There is a fruit fly infestation under the kitchen sink a compost pail that was not emptied so we brought that to the attention of the owner. The kitchen was not set up with enough equipment to cook with the 2 pots and 2 frying pans were awful looking, no other big bowls , strainer etc. The bathroom shower fan was so plugged with dirt, we couldn’t use it. There is no BBQ as mentioned they had one . On a positive note the bedroom we used was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location to get around the city was great.

Whitehorse

Canoeing the Broken Skull River and South Nahanni River. Stayed two days before and two days after trip. First apartment was cramped, relatively new but required some TLC. The apartment supplied by Anson on our return was spacious and new and worked out great. We have used this host 6 times and other than last minute changes of location and last minute sign in information he is excellent.

Our condo was not like the one pictured in the advertisement, but it was 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms & it had a washer/dryer & dishwasher. We had trouble starting the dishwasher the first day but figured it out. I had sent a message about that, but did not receive a reply.

Yukon or Bust

The property is perfectly situated within easy walk of most things. It is a modern, well furnished environment. The kitchens and laundry facilities are lovely. Only thing that could improve the kitchen would be more cooking utensils and mixing bowls. Anson always responds quickly to your text and emails. Overall a great place to book.

Good location, walking distance to almost everywhere in Whitehorse. The unit has everything we needed for 2 days stay for the upper 2 bedroom units without anyone above us. Difficult communication experience with the host as we did not receive check-in instruction until I called Expedia on my arrival at the airport. Check-in time was supposed to be 3:30 but the host pushed it to 5pm due to staffing issues. Expedia would not want to do anything for full refund since we received the check-in instruction (even tho I pushed for it), so we wasted 1.5 hrs waiting at the airport. Very unpleasant experience with both the host and Expedia.

White horse Retreat

Did not get the unit seen in the photos but it was comprible. Unit was fairly clean and beds comfortable. Kitchen lacked appropriate cookwear more pots and frying pans are needed. Lots of hot water and lovely soaking tub. Host Anson was helpful with providing requested items which was helpful and he was open to honest feedback we will book with him again thanks Anson!

Cheaper than a suite but won’t come back...

The place looked clean in the surface but lots of the dishes (glass, plates and bowls) were still dirty, under the furniture there was lots of dust and crumbs.. (I have kids and the dropped something so I had to move it) you can hear the people upstairs flushing the toilet or walking and taking showers. The pictures not as advertise (showed 2 single bed and 1 double we arrive and there was 2 doubles) So y’a overall cheaper than a suite at the hotel but I wont come back.
