The place was clean and spacious the host could not get in touch with on several try the walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes a nice area and 2 benches near the water

The host is very responsive and communication was great. The location to the sandbar, Traverse City, Alden and Bellaire was perfect! This home is very basic but comfortable.

Clean and as described in listing, could use some updates to the property. Additional towels and washclothes are need to make it through extended stay. Washer and dryer on property would be an great addition.

Great place to stay! Clean cabin and check in was easy. Close to small, private beach & can walk to Torch Lake sandbar from there. I think the only things it’s missing are a hose outside to wash off the sand from the beach and a clothesline for towels & swim suits.

We do have an open tap off the deck, and I will see about adding a short hose there for guest convenience. The clothes line may be a little more difficult, but I will try to find a way to address that, too. Thanks again for staying with us.”

No frill house with close location to the sandbar. Plenty of space for three though maybe a bit heavy on price for what you get. We were satisfied overall

House has great bones & so much potential!! If you are there for a quick weekend it can be good. Family of 5 for a week, there are some misses. There are only 6 bath towels for the week with no washer & dryer on site limited towel hooks for towels to dry. No way/place to hang beach towels to dry. Bedding is very old, upstairs comforter is all torn underneath & mattress cover does not stay on at all so soiled mattress is exposed no matter how hard you try to get the mattress cover to stay on.Silverware, only 6 forks & knives they don’t even cut pancakes. The furniture is very old so not comfortable at all if you are there for a week. Beach(grass area) location is NOT 100ft from house. Once again, it has soooo much potential, just needs to focus on upgrades for week rentals especially for the price.

Half marathonl

A friend and I came into town early to enjoy Northern Michigan before our half marathon in TC. Loved the cute house big space and accommodation. Only concern was the trash was overflowing by the garage. But excellent location, views and welcoming, clean house.
