A lakeview house in a dream location!
Spectacular lake view, city view & mountains view. House consists of two parts: 1st floor (for our guests) and upper floor (main part where our family resides). Note that the house has two separate entries.
The space
The house is in Kettle Valley area with amazing lake view, 10 km from Downtown. You can reach the nearest supermarket, bar and restaurant in 3 minutes.

For kids the Quilchena splash park ( water park ) is located approx. 3 minutes walking distance from the house. The Bertram beach is located approx. 5 minutes with car from the house.

You can see the lake from most of the rooms in the house. All rooms are light-flooded and modern looking.

* The house has private entrance, separated living and dining room with lake view scene.

* The other two bedrooms are furnished with queen sized beds and closets. There’s also a second bathroom not connected to any of the rooms.

* Both living room has recliner sofa bed (queen size)

* Both bathrooms come with toilet paper, air freshener, pack of tissues and liquid hand soap

There were 3 adults and 1 child and we all had a really wonderful time. Accommodation was outstanding! So much room.

Amazing View and Beautiful area

We had a very nice stay at the property. It was very large and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and check in and out were very simple. The view of the lake is amazing and as shown in the photos.

Beautiful home

We didn’t spend a lot of time at the property but we really appreciated what it had to offer. . The views were amazing and our host was very helpful and always quick to respond. We’d definitely stay again.

Beautiful place

It was great for what we needed it for. If you want to party or listen to music quiet time is 10 as they do live above and have young kids. Very clean beautiful view.

This house was advertised as 2 bathrooms, however, the 2nd bathrooms shower wasn’t working and the sink was clogging. The house was also not equipped with garbage bags. Lastly, our limited interaction with the host was not very welcoming. The house has a nice location and view but not too much to offer other than that.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear about your experience, but I’d like to clarify a few points. Before your arrival, I sent you full check-in instructions and even photos showing exactly where to go downstairs. Unfortunately, you arrived late at night and tried to enter our private door instead, knocking while everyone was asleep. I personally came out to show you where your entrance was. Garbage bags were provided in the kitchen drawer, and the shower in the second bathroom is fully functional — it just needs to be pulled toward you to turn on. If you had messaged me, I would have been happy to explain right away. Unfortunately, your group was quite loud throughout the night and repeatedly slammed doors, which was very disruptive. I always do my best to provide a comfortable and welcoming stay, but mutual respect and following the given instructions are also important.

Its a big place. Fridge failed unfortunately while we were there causing food to go bad. There was construction on the street the entire time which prevented us from leaving at times and we werent informed.The biggest problem is that there is no noise insulation. You can hear every footstep all night. Even conversations from above. Not much chance to sleep.

As soon as you mentioned the fridge, it was replaced right away, and I really appreciated you letting me know so I could fix it immediately. Regarding the street construction, unfortunately it started unexpectedly during your visit and was scheduled by the city. I completely understand how disruptive it must have felt, even though it was something beyond my control. I’m grateful for your comments, as they help me improve and ensure future guests feel as comfortable as possible. It was a pleasure hosting you, and I hope to welcome you again under better and quieter circumstances.

Family weekend

The place has amazing views. It is very large and suited our family weekend of 5 adults well. It was very cold, but heat was turned up on request.There was not a stove or oven that was not advertised- we brought food but could not cook it. The sound barrier between upstairs owners and downstairs suite was not good. Overall for the price , the view and size we would stay again.

Host did not reveal that there was MAJOR ongoing street construction in front of and all around the rental. We had to park our car a block away and walk through a dangerous construction zone to get there. Loud noises and shaking of the whole home were constant during the day. Also checking in, the door code wouldn't open the door. Host did not respond for 45 minutes and finally came and opened the door while we were waiting outside.The suite is very spacious but needs upkeep.

We actually met your husband in the yard when you arrived, and he didn’t mention any issue with the door code. As soon as I saw your message, I came downstairs right away to assist. Please note that you also checked in almost two hours earlier than the agreed time without prior notice. Regarding the street construction — I had informed guests in advance and apologized, but unfortunately, this is city work to replace the main pipes, and it’s completely outside of my control. If you have concerns about that, you may contact the City of Kelowna directly. As for the suite itself, I did everything possible to make sure it was clean, comfortable, and ready for your stay.

No pool.... unless you count the floor

Checked in at around 5:00 PM and left for the evening. Returned to the property at approximately 10:00 PM and the entire suite was flooded. Rather than apologizing and making the situation as good as it could have been, the host accused us of flooding the property on purpose and just wanting a refund. At that point I had to find 2 hotel rooms for myself, my wife, daughter and 80 year old mother at 11 PM on a Friday night. After the additional costs for the hotel rooms, we could not stay for the original tenth of our vacation. I completely understand that this could happen to any place at any time, but to accuse guests of intentionally flooding a place for a refund, when I had to then go get 2 last minute hotel rooms, and move my 80 year of mother at almost midnight is beyond preposterous. That's the integrity you will be dealing with with this host.

You checked in at 5 p.m. and no one was home at that time. You left, and shortly after, we received a call that there was flooding downstairs. I came to check and found that the sump pump had been deliberately turned off. What conclusion can be drawn from that? Once the pump was turned back on, everything worked fine — we didn’t even need to call plumbers or any repair crews. We apologized to you and told you we would investigate how this happened. I also immediately contacted the platform. The fact is, the flooding was caused intentionally, resulting in serious damage to our property. And instead of apologizing, you chose to leave a negative review.
