Salty Cabin (built in August 2024) located in the Byron Hinterland offers couples a perfect retreat to disconnect and savour a serene, peaceful escape in the Byron Bay Hinterland. Conveniently located near Byron Bay's beaches, Mullumbimby, Brunswick Heads, Bangalow, and Minyon Falls, the Cabin is secluded enough to let you unwind and avoid the crowds. Enjoy a luxurious stay with a heated sunken outdoor bath, where you can soak in breath-taking rainforest views.
Salty Cabin is brand new completed in Aug 2024 with 15Acres of undulating rain forest views, the Cabin shares a driveway with the main residence, the main residence cannot be seen while staying at the Cabin, you may see a blue shed this is just a garage/shed used for storage.
*The bathroom offers guests a fully flushable toilet (not composting) this is a huge advantage in the Hinterland as most Cabins in the area are composting toilets only*
Property is set on 15 Acres with direct access to Coopers Creek swimming holes and crystal hunting. Its a good 10Min walk to access the creek, if you would like to access the creek please reach out to the host (matt) directly to show guests the path, please note in the summer months snakes are about so please wear covered shoes.

I enjoy surfing the beaches and point breaks around Byron Bay, I also like to visit Minyon Falls and its walking tracks
Salty Cabin - Federal is an amazing space with breath taking rainforest views
The sunken outdoor bath in the deck is next level relaxation
I regularly have breakfast or lunch at a local Japanese Cafe in Federal called Doma Cafe only a short 6min drive from the Cabin, Federal General Store is next to Doma and has all your groceries and alcohol supplies, Moonshine Coffee is also part of the Federal Village
