The cabin was so cozy and was filled with everything we needed: kitchen utensils and equipment, spices, bathroom amenities and bedding, lots of games and activities within the cabin. Was a great holiday getaway for the family. The only thing was that the dishwasher was out of order when we visited but handwashing is no big deal.

Family getaway

The property and location were fantastic. Ample room in the cottage and excellent views of the water from anywhere on the grounds. Would highly recommend this cabin to friends and family for a getaway.

Our group of eight had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin. There was lots of room for everyone, plenty of everything in the kitchen and games for indoors and out. We especially loved the kayaks and the great sitting areas at the water's edge. The host was great to communicate with too. We hope to come back again!

Fantastic, peaceful location that is easy to get to from Winnipeg. The smell of pine hit me as soon as I stepped out of the car. The walls of windows in the living area make it feel like you're still outside even when you're inside. We plan to return.

This was such a beautiful place, we were thoroughly impressed! Between the loft, bunk house, and cottage itself everyone stayed in clean and comfortable rooms and beds. The kitchen was fully stocked, the hosts left clear instructions and a welcoming atmosphere.The outdoor games, kayaks, paddle boards, and cozy chairs everywhere were our favourite part. We had fires most evenings and the river is fun to explore, too.Our hosts checked in on us and were prompt with responses. We’d definitely stay here again and give it 10/10

Winter Escape

We found what we were looking for: a change of scenery for a few days with family, while taking a break from work. It was very relaxing, HHatsupplied. We had no concerns.

Amazing Cabin

Me and my cousins spent a weekend of relaxing and board games here. It was perfect! We are already hoping to come back again next year. The property is gorgeous, surrounded by water. Our dogs loved it too.The only thing to note is the kitchen table has 8 chairs, so if you're a bigger group than that and plan on sitting around the table much you could bring extra indoor folding chairs if you have.

Overall, we really liked it here. Beautiful nature, quiet location, lots of outdoor activities, including kayaking. The main house was cozy and warm. The only downside was that, despite the description, the dishwasher didn't work (and hadn't for a long time, as the sticker was already worn off), so there were a few dirty plates left behind by previous guests; also, the bedding was stale, stained, and had an unpleasant smell. To compensate for the lack of a dishwasher, the hosts provided us with disposable plates. The hosts were always available and responded very quickly.Overall, we fell in love with the atmosphere of this place and would recommend staying here (taking into account the points mentioned above that need to be considered).

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m truly sorry about the inconvenience with the dishwasher and the concern about the linens. The dishwasher has been out of order for about two weeks due to a broken handle, and the replacement part has already been ordered. I had intended to give you a heads up before your stay but unfortunately forgot, and I completely understand how that might have been frustrating. Regarding the linens, please know that we always replace and launder all bedding and towels after each rental. We take pride in maintaining a clean and comfortable space for every guest, I’ll make sure to review our cleaning process to ensure everything continues to meet the highest standards.

Beautiful Spot!

So thankful to Jacques and Christel for having this beautiful place on Vrbo! Communication was excellent before booking, during our stay and after. The place was spotless upon arrival. Beds and sheets were comfortable. Beautiful newer kitchen was well stocked. Great lighting, heating options, and cozy furniture. Great decorating and cabin accents - so cozy!The dogs loved running around outside and so did we. We took long walks down the lake and a few of us went for a run down the road.Hisoric night there as we watched THE hockey game of the year . Can hardly wait to go back!
