Entering from the front porch, you’ll find the dining and lounge area flowing onto the kitchen and out to the garden. The fresh white kitchen comes fully equipped for your holiday catering, with sleek appliances and cooking utensils. Take it slow at the breakfast bar or come together for a shared meal, choosing from a dining table inside or out. In the garden, sun loungers are perfect for relaxing through the warmer months, while families will love roasting marshmallows around the fire pit come winter. In the evening, the lounge inside is warmed by a wood fireplace, with books, board games and a TV with Foxtel.

Each bedroom is immaculately presented for a good night’s sleep. The combination of air-conditioning, heating and ceiling fans keeps things comfortable no matter when you are travelling. In the primary bedroom, you’ll find a king-sized bed, along with a Koala single sofa bed. The second bedroom features a queen-sized bed and armchair, while the third bedroom comes with a double bed as well as a dedicated workspace for those needing to set up a laptop. Two full bathrooms in the property make it easy to refresh and come stocked with complimentary boutique toiletries for your stay.

You’ll also have access to a Euro-style washing machine, adding to your everyday convenience. Ample parking is provided. Travelling with an infant? A porta cot and highchair can be provided on request.

Nestled just under four hours’ drive west of Sydney, the town of Mudgee is renowned for its wineries and flourishing food scene. Its winemaking dates to the 19th century, with notable cellar doors including Lowe Wines, Robert Stein Vineyard and Logan Wines. Meander the colonial streetscapes filled with produce stores, cafes and boutiques, and shop for local produce at the Mudgee Fine Foods Farmers’ Markets, held in the picturesque grounds of Robertson Park. While visiting the region, you can explore World Heritage-listed Wollemi National Park, home to scenic walking trails, canoeing and kayaking tours.
