• Spacious 1300 sq. foot, two-level cottage sheltered within in a fringe of mature trees offering extra privacy. Located within a quaint cottage community in Chelton, nestled along the south shore of Prince Edward Island. So slow down, relax, and reconnect.

• 2 Adults only. No Pets. No children.

In the sunroom, cozy up on the couches and soak in the garden views, birdsong and fresh Island breezes. It’s the perfect spot for quiet mornings, afternoon naps or evening cocktails.

Our meditation room offers a unique space for self guided yoga, mindful meditation or a little quiet time for self-care. If you'd rather be outside, you'll love our 'zen corner' with a lush oversized chair for meditation in the fresh air or a just shaded nook to read. In any case, you'll find your fave spot.

A wrap-around deck encompasses the cottage with several seating options to relax throughout the day, and to take in exceptional stargazing at night.

The property features several blooming flower beds, plus ample green space for outdoor games or further relaxation.

For dining in, we have an outdoor BBQ station plus, when in season, an herb garden to add extra dashes of flavour.

Speaking of outdoors, an absolute favourite for our guests is to pour a beverage and venture to the private shore access to cuddle up and watch our amazing sunsets. In August, our location is also excellent for viewing the Perseid meteor showers.


Located near 3 beach options:

GORDON COVE PRIVATE BEACH
• Amble down the path to Bouquet Cove beach just a two-minute walk from our door. The ideal spot for swimming when the tide is out, or kayaking when the tides are high. Plus, the perfect little private sunset viewing spot.

CHELTON PROVINCIAL PARK
• Pack up for a beach day at Chelton Provincial Park, just minutes by vehicle.

BRIDGE VIEW BEACH
• Nab the Lovewelle Cruiser Bikes and peddle over to the beach at the end of the dirt road for a gorgeous full view of Confederation Bridge.



LOCAL SITES:

We are just a 9-minute drive from Gateway Village, a delightful mix of shops, dining options, local brew pub, artisans, retailers plus a provincial liquor store.

We are a brief 20-minute drive to Summerside, the second largest city in Prince Edward Island. Featuring a lovely seaside boardwalk for summer strolling, Summerside is home to artisan shops and markets, local dining, theatres, galleries, events, plus brand name retailers.


One of the most charming seaside towns, Victoria-by-the-Sea (a favourite recommendation of ours), is only a 25-minute drive from your accommodation. An ideal place to visit for delicious local dining, shops, galleries, and must-have handmade chocolate truffles.

If you’re an avid kayaker or paddleboard fan, bring them along with you for your stay. Our coastal cottage is the perfect spot to grab you gear and stroll down to the beach for a sunset paddle or early morning float.

For cyclists, we are a 10-20 minute drive from different access points to the Confederation Trail; the historic railway system has been transformed into a rolled and groomed trail that stretches tip-to-tip across the Island. Pack your bikes and venture out for a lovely day of cycling right from our front door.

Lovewelle Cottage is all yours. :) You will have the property to yourself and your sweetheart.

There is a bunky on the property which is not accessible, but you can use the veranda for those fabulous sunset views.
