The property and host were excellent, the only reason for less than 5 stars was the access into home. The walkway into the home consisted of a rock stairway, once past that there was a nice brick paver sidewalk. We had one person in our party who is semi-handicapped in her walking so we would go thru the front door and open the master bedroom sliding door on the lower level to let her in. The front door lock was a bit tricky, but with the instructions on the key chain were very thorough and once we learned the process we had no issues.I will say staying at this property was not a typical cookie cutter home, lots of character, from all the windows, grand piano, unique light switches, and gaming room.

Lovely home

Beautiful home in a peaceful spot. Very clean with every kitchen device you could possibly need. We enjoyed watching the bird life and deer wandering by. Location was ideal for our plans to visit friends in metro west, kayak the Charles River and hike the nearby Trustees of Reservations properties,. Would be good for visiting students at Wellesley or Babson too. On a narrow windy road with no sidewalks.

Perfect Home for our Graduation weekend

We rented this beautiful home for our son's graduation from Northeastern in Boston. It was perfect...very comfortable for our family of 6 with plenty of room in the kitchen and living room for gathering and watching tv. There were also fun games to play! We brought our 2 dogs and the surrounding grounds were great for them to explore and play fetch. Because it's surrounded by some much greenery and woods, it really felt like a getaway! The drive to the city was only about a half hour to 45 minutes, so very convenient for our needs. I would definitely recommend this home...it's lovely and comfortable!

It was a very comfortable and relaxing house. Did send a text, no outdoor grill, sliding door was difficult to move and screen had a hole (which I enlarged by accident). The refrigerator stopped making ice. The one couch was very short, needs legs? And outside was a bit messy, it needed a leaf blower and maybe windows needed washing. Inside was very clean and neat. The music equipment was fun for us. That is what drew us to your place.

I would not recommend this property. There was a musty smell in the lower level where the bedrooms are despite having dehumidifiers in every room. There were no bathmats, we had to use towels on the floor to step out of the shower. There was hair in the bathroom sink when we checked in. The linens were mismatched. There was a loud beeping noise that we finally traced to a dehumidifier in one of the rooms. The furniture on the main level was stained. Dishes in the kitchen were chipped. The place overall felt grungy.
