Our treasured Orcas Island home is set on the western side of Mt. Constitution, near Moran State park. Tucked away in the woods, you can enjoy gorgeous views of the deep forest. Sit on the deck and have coffee while deer come close and check you out. Lay in the hammock and watch eagles soar overhead. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe. Eastsound, Cascade lake, and Rosario Resort are less than 10 minutes away. Peace and quiet for the heart and soul!

Beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood, super close to Moran State Park and Eastsound. The house had an excellent selection of games, books and DVDs for both adults and kids. The kitchen had everything that we needed and the beds were all very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here

Awesome place for a family stay

This house is clean, well-stocked, has a lovely deck and garden, and is located a short distance away from the busy little town of Eastsound. Perfect for a family getaway with access to the everything special about Orcas Island.

What a bright and cheery home! It was wonderfully quiet at night but close enough to Moran State Park and Eastsound for activities during the day. Wish we could have enjoyed the fire pit but we will have to come back when there isn’t a burn ban. A delightful place for 2 kids, 4 adults, and a dog. Thank you for sharing your home!

Great home on Orcas Island

This place was perfect for my family including our dog. Bigger than expected, great outdoor area, and a fenced yard. Lots of room for everyone. Very clean and kitchen was perfectly stocked. Most important to us, was sitting in the backyard, in a quiet area, surrounded by trees. Definitely recommend this house.

Would stay again! House was very comfortable, clean, and spacious. Conveniently located an 11 minute drive from Eastsound, and 5 minutes to Cascade Lake. Setting is beautiful and serene - the yard backs up to Moran State Park, so it is quiet and you are surrounded by trees. There is a fire pit with Adirondack chairs, and a nice deck with a picnic table and BBQ. It is also family-friendly - we brought our 6 year old twins. They enjoyed the foosball table, and the yard which has a climbing dome and some toys. There is also a very charming play room upstairs, with toys that our kids spent plenty of time playing with, and a big shelf of kids' books, puzzles, and games. There is a large selection of DVDs. Orcas Island is gorgeous and peaceful. Highly recommend!

Perfect place for first-time visitors!

Our group of 5 adults (and one dog) loved this place! Clean. Well stocked kitchen. Bathrooms had Extra towels, which was much appreciated. And Tissues! Excellent location. Easy check in and hosts communicative throughout stay. Will definitely return!

The Mandala house had everything we needed

The place is beautiful, right next to a forest so, not many human neighbors around, it’s a great getaway to relax, recharge and enjoy the quiet and peaceful atmosphere that comes from the mountains. My parents, my kid and I enjoyed opening our Christmas presents here! The only thing that scared us was that the main two doors are half see-through glass, and you don’t know who may be outside watching you; there was a guy asking us to turn off the outside lights at 8:30 am one day! but everything else was just fine!

Peaceful, quiet and cute house with a lush garden

The house itself is very cozy, has a ton of bedrooms, and open floor space throughout. It is centrally located in eastsound - which makes it easy to explore the island either direction and easily find your way into nearby towns. We brought our dogs with us to stay and they loved watching the numerous dragonflies and birds fly in and out of the garden that has a smattering of edible plants and herbs. Cell phone service can get a bit wonky this close to Canada, but fortunately there is a land line for local use, as well as many brochures, a binder of local offerings, and decent wifi at the house.

We strongly recommend this accomodation. The entire property was great with large, bright, and spacious rooms. The place was clean with all the amenities. We look forward to renting it again. A suggest would be that the host gives you his cell phone number and email. We had great difficulty getting the lock box code so having them would be most helpful.

Spacious, secluded, and immaculate

We (three generations including five adults and a four-month old) were in town for a friend’s wedding. Our ferry was super early and the owner very graciously worked with us to get an early check-in - much appreciated! - the owner was amazingly responsive and helpful throughout, actually. The house was spotless, welcoming, and more than big enough for all of us to gather and also have personal space to recharge. The area is wooded and neighbors are sparse, so it was very quiet as well. We look forward to returning!

Great pet-friendly house on Orcas Island

Overall, we had a great stay. The house is clean and in a great location — about halfway between Eastsound and Moran state park. We appreciated the fenced backyard for our dogs. Only negative was that there isn’t a ton of seating in the living room (one couch and a few papasan chairs that were low to the ground), which might be something to consider if you’re coming with more than 2 adults (kids probably wouldn’t mind the papasan chairs as much).
