Welcome to our brand new unit which we have personally designed for your comfort. We arrived in 2008 with our family from the UK and have spent a fantastic 16 years in the Garden City.
I (Steve) have been a chef my entire career and I currently work in the CBD at Te Pae, Christchurch's premier Convention Centre, you may be using it during your stay?
I am passionate about food and love to cook at home, so I have given a lot of thought to the kitchen and the equipment to give you everything you need to create your own great meals.
My wife Julie has worked in the health sector for most of her career, working firstly in the NHS and then the Canterbury District Health Board. She is currently managing a local Care Home and Retirement Village.
Julie is passionate about interior design and we have renovated several houses over the years. She has loved the opportunity to put her love of design, colour and comfort into this unit and we hope you enjoy our little oasis in the city.

City Noise - Please note this is a city living property and has usual city noises. Pedestrians walking past, cars driving and neighbouring residential noise. The property is much quieter with the windows closed. If you are a light sleeper, ear plugs are recommended.
Please note we can facilitate early check-ins/late check outs. there is an extra cost of $10 per hour with maximum of 2 hours. extra cost is to cover express cleaning. Subject to availability.

Smoking is prohibited inside the property and any damages or extra cleaning caused by smoking or pets will result in a $200 fee.
We expect the house to be left in a reasonable condition and any additional cleaning required will be charged at $60 per hour. Any damages, spills or stains must be reported and may result in a charge for replacement or cleaning.

Excellent property in all respects - modern, spacious, clean and well catered apartment. Very comfortable, sunny, quiet and with private courtyard. Great location, close to supermarkets, city centre, bus depot, parks and cafes - all within easy walking distance. Great value for money - all our needs were met, including coffee machine. Great communication with hosts when needing assistance.

The apartment was everything I hoped for and more. It was within easy walking distance of Hagley Oval but also the city centre. There is a shopping centre just across the road with a food court and a supermarket within a stone’s throw. The apartment itself was beautifully clean. There was also tea, coffee and milk available when I arrived. The check in process was really clear and communication spot on. I can’t recommend this property highly enough.
