Good Soul Cottage â Cosy, Charming, and Steps from the City
The Good Soul Cottage is a beautifully restored, heritage listed 2 bedroom cottage (circa 1890) tucked away in the heart of Launceston. Designed and owned by an award-winning interior designer and constructed by a master builder, this short term rental combines luxury and functionality in every detail. Originally named Goodwin Cottage and renamed to its direct meaning of Good Soul. The cottage is within walking distance to Launceston CBD and many more.
With 2 cosy bedrooms at the front of the cottage, a short hallway leads you through to the open plan kitchen, living and dining with a generous outdoor entertaining area accessible via double french doors. Arched windows either side of the room create a light filled space that is as quaint and cosy as it is beautifully styled with modern appointments. The cottage is situated off a quiet street with ample off street parking and a secure backyard.
You are most welcome to bring your little people to the cottage however please note that we do not supply child amenities such as cots, high chairs etc. These can be hired from a local shop, Adore U if required.

Hello there, Iâm Lydia! Iâm a Tasmanian interior designer and together with my builder hubby Shane, we have created The Good Soul Cottage and Soul Sister Cottage. It has been an absolute dream and one heck of a journey to renovate two heritage cottages in our hometown of Launceston (and to still stay married). We both grew up in Launnie and want to share this slice of heaven with the world.
