Cockroach city! Bare minimum supplies with no extra bedding. They’re charging a 250 cleaning fee for staying there less than 12 hours and the place was not clean. There are treacherous stairs leading up to the main level. The kids did enjoy running around in the yard and on the deck. The game room was not heated so really wasn’t useable. Do not recommend staying here.

Huge house & great location

Came here with my friends for a quick trip and loved it This house has everything - it was the best bang for your buck place in the area. Definitely recommend this host’s rentals if you’re traveling with a big group! The Game room and the surrounding forest was the best part

The property has a very musty smell. If you have a mold allergy this is not the place for you. This is not a motorcycle friendly rental. The entrance from the road is not maintained. The road is 35mph the average speed is 50. Trying to navigate the entrance and not get hit by a car is difficult. We wrecked one of nine bikes, 3000 to 5000 in damage. No wash cloths, only one kitchen towel. The house was spacious and clean. We had 13 people and the large kitchen table was great. Beds were comfortable. The closets had a musty smell.

The space was what we needed for our large group, but the property didn't feel very well maintained. One bedroom door was too broken to close. One bedroom AC didn't work. The dishwasher didn't work, which is a pain for a large group. We tried messaging our host our first morning there and never received any kind of response.

Honest review

Unfortunately, this property did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, the house was visibly dirty and had a strong, unpleasant odor. We spotted roaches shortly after checking in, which was extremely off-putting. The AC unit wasn't working in one of the rooms upstairs, and combined with poor ventilation, the humidity and smell traveled all over the house. Several doors were either stuck or wouldn’t close properly, which made basic things inconvenient.The shower was unnecessarily complicated to use, and took way too much trial and error just to get a basic stream of water.The only thing that mildly improved the stay was the pool table — though even that was worn out and uneven.This property clearly needs better maintenance and a deep cleaning. I wouldn’t recommend staying here until major improvements are made.

Disappointing Experience: Heating Issues & Misleading Listing

We booked this property to celebrate my boyfriend's 30th birthday, as we were going on a ski/snowboarding trip to Elk Mountain. The game room was a key reason for choosing this rental, but we couldn't use it at all due to severe heating issues. The wall & floor heating units did not work in the game room or the downstairs bedrooms, leaving everyone who slept downstairs freezing. The game room was so cold that no one could stay in there for more than a minute. When we contacted the host, they were not helpful and when someone from their staff was sent to check, they didn’t fix it.The listing had 3 bathrooms listed but in reality only 2 had showers, which is an important factor for a group of 16 like us. This should be listed as 2.5 bathrooms. One of the showers also didn't have soap in the labeled dispensers.The game room photo shows a Pac-Man machine that is not actually there.Overall the rental was a disappointment

Terrible stay

As soon as we arrived at the property the issues began. We arrived at the property and quickly found out the air conditioners didn’t all work. A repair man showed up without notice and left without fixing anything. Another repairman came in 3 days later, with notice, and also left without fixing anything. Only one air conditioner was working fully upstairs. If you turned too many things on upstairs, everything would turn off. Which then led to us having to go downstairs to the breaker to turn things back on, after we had unplugged some things. This meant that we basically had to choose between making food, doing laundry or staying cold. We had to go to Walmart and buy fans because the rooms were unbearably hot. Only one room had a fully functioning air conditioner. The downstairs bedroom with 2 beds didn’t have an air conditioner at all and the room with 3 beds only has one air conditioner which is not enough to cool down such a huge room. There is also no netting on any of the doors or windows. This led to a flood of insects coming in when we opened the doors and windows to cool off. The game room floor has a terrible tile that seems to condense the hot air. I wouldn’t recommend being barefoot downstairs. After it rained once we discovered the game room has a leak in the ceiling. So keep that patio area nice and dry.
