This is a great rental. Wonderful home with a fully-stocked kitchen. Excellent location. The game room on the 1st floor was a fun place to hangout for everyone. The Cub Club room off of the game room was cute also.

Check in was easily done at a "registration" type office. The property was as advertised, a family friendly home. We had ample room for our group of 7 adults and 3 children. The kids had plenty of things to do on property and the adults could relax easily.

This is a wonderful home for a group. We stayed there in July 2026 with our party of 6 adults and two small grandchildren. The home is spacious and clean. The back deck is a wonderful place for privacy and seclusion. The home infrastructure works well – HVAC, wi-fi, plumbing, etc. The best part of this property is the community amenities which include two swimming pools, a lake beach with kayaks and paddle boats, and a petting zoo all within driving distance. The village, Masthope , is rural but we discovered that Instacart will deliver groceries from Hawley. We recommend this home for larger groups. We loved it !

A Wonderful Family Retreat

This is an outstanding property - lot's of space, well designed, and fully equipped. The kids' space on the ground floor was great for both the grand kids AND the adults. Kudos to the host family.

Great Stay!

We had an amazing time staying in Masthope. The property and community amenities were even better than we expected. We had a group of 8 adults and 2 young children, everyone was comfortable and had plenty to do in the area! Jennifer was very helpful and sent a lot of info to make our stay amazing.

The beautiful home met all our needs! Our children did snowboard and go tubing with our grandchildren. The kitchen was more than adequately equipped. The dining area was the scene of many contentious card games The number of full bathrooms allowed everyone time for personal needs without waiting and taking turns.

Beautiful vacation home for a large family!

We had such a wonderful stay in this amazing home! The home was beautifully done and decorated! The kids loved the lower level! It was so quiet and relaxing but also so many activities you could do in the community. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic Getaway

Stayed here for 3 nights to get away for a long weekend.. What a wonderful house just minutes from big bear mountain. Everyone had plenty to do. The owner was great and kept communication throughout our stay. I look forward to visiting in the future.

Beautiful home

The home is absolutely beautiful. My family enjoyed celebrating New Year’s together. The location is great to get to local skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. My children enjoyed the game room downstairs.

Winter vacay

We had a great time. To house was awesome with all the amenities you need. The sauna and hot tub were great and the kids (and adults) loved the video games. As always the community was great and skiing was fun. Interacting with Jennifer was easy and she was very responsive.

The Perfect Home.

This Home is Wonderful. Felt like Home. Warm, Spacious, Super clean, Amenities Galore, Close proximity to Skiing Lake, Amazing host, Jacuzzi Sauna.All bedrooms are cozy nice. Very comfortable for nine of us w/ room to spare. We are all eager to return.

Beautiful home

Gorgeous place and super easy to communicate with the property manager. You definitely get to see deers come up to the property which can be intimidating for city folks. Makes you wish you stayed longer.

Amazing escape

The house is beautiful and both parents and kids loved ! Everything in the house is brand new Hot tub and skee ball were a big hit ! It exceeded our expectations! In a nice community!Owner communicated well ! We will be back!

Family friendly, amazing scenery!

The owners were so very friendly and helpful in planning our trip. They accommodated last minutes adjustments in extended our stay and provided recommendations on the local restaurants and ski/snow boarding lifts. The house is absolutely beautiful with a wide open concept which the kids just loved, being able to spread out. The property and view of the scenery and wildlife was breath taking! The back yard had just enough of a hill for the kids to sled down. We can’t wait to book our next trip! Thanks again for a memorable family vacation!
