Slide open the old door, walk across the new deck on to lawn then to the sand. This is Parapara-dise. Your true Kiwi beachfront bach experience.

As you walk into this true, much loved family bach - you are greeted with views of the beach as it meets the lawn and the classic NZ Pohutukawa trees urging you to get down to the beach.

The ample deck draws you outside - which is where you want to be. Keep going... in a few seconds you're over the lawn out walking straight out to a great gently sloping beach - always so great for kids (of all ages)... including those who fancy themselves handy with a fishing rod.

Inside, everything is functional without being modern - but that's part of the charm. Faded orange formica kitchen bench and damage-proof formica dining table... mismatched decor, a selection of books and magazines dating back 30 years ago and a cupboard filled with board games, cards, dice - you name it. A range of beach sport equipment is kept at the property for guest use (Cricket, Kubb, Badminton and others).

Beds for up to eight guests - with an extra fold-out sofa bed for larger or extended families.

This has been a family bach for 30 years, and we love the simplicity and charm the classic kiwi bach offers. Only a select few have rented it out until now but we love hearing when others come here to enjoy this place also. So if this is a place you want to enjoy like we do then Parapara-dise is now available for new memories to be made.

* 40" Sony Bravia TV (for those wet days) + an eclectic mix of DVDs (esp kids ones)
* SKY Basic (No Movies or Sports)
* Wifi not yet enabled - but 4G mobile coverage works fine (We've done Microsoft Teams calls from the house and on the beach!)

Note - water is rain-fed with a backup of 'town supply' which can be used if necessary.
