We stayed here for a long weekend, and it was everything we needed! The studio is decorated beautifully, with a gorgeous outlook onto the forest which gives you a sense of privacy. Lots of lorikeets and parrots would fly past, and the owners dog Kada coming to visit was a highlight! The small kitchen set up was great too, especially with access to a barbecue outside. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful little getaway

My partner and I were so impressed with this little cabin! Richard and his wife were so lovely and even left a complimentary bottle of champagne and some snacks for our stay. The view from the cabin was gorgeous and everything was very tidy. Loved it!

Beautiful getaway home

My partner and I stayed at this home over the weekend and we loved every minute of it! The property is close to the local town the host gave us lovely recommendations and came down and said goodbye to us as we were leaving which we thought was a lovely gesture. The property is a beautiful tiny home which was super clean and had all the needed amenities! Will be definitely recommending this place to friends and family

Loved it!

Absolutely loved our time in Leura. Great location and close to some key places, but also felt miles away. As soon as we walked in and saw the outlook and heard the birds we felt able to relax and switch off. Really appreciated the thoughtful and homely touches inside and outside! Thanks!

The studio was off the beaten track but also central to everything Leura had to offer. The small touches made this amazing stay an impeccable experience (wine and chocolate never goes astray). For travellers unfamiliar with the region, Katoomba is a short cab/train ride away, so everything is on your doorstep. Bring a keep cup if you want to take a complimentary brew on your travels.

We had a lovely weekend stay in Richard’s studio. We loved the welcoming bubbles and nibbles on arrival. Having a bottle of fresh milk in the fridge meant our first morning Nespresso coffees were sorted. The studio itself is modern and clean, well insulated when the windows are closed, with sun streaming in every morning once the blinds were opened. The air conditioning took the edge off the cool mornings and evenings. The unit was nicely laid out and the bed was so comfy. There’s complete privacy from the main house and the studio looks out over greenery with the occasional bird flying through. The balcony was lovely for star gazing and just sitting to relax. Highly recommend the studio for a quiet weekend away as a base for exploring everything the Blue Mountains area has to offer.

A secluded and cosy studio, ideal as a base to explore this fabulous scenic area. We were welcomed by the hosts and appreciated being shown to the studio. Loved the welcoming goodies as well as the availability of maps and guidebooks for the area.
