the suite was pleasant, clean and lovely. The one main concern was it was difficult to be warm. the 3 space heaters weren’t enough to do the job. When they were on, the breaker flipped off, shutting down the TV ect. The TV remote didn’t work either. I’m glad I had a suv with snow tires cause I did lose some sleep over whether I would get stuck in the deep snow ruts. The WEM was more than 20 minutes away- not the 6 as advertised. Not a deal breaker but was surprised.

Positives:-great location, easy to get to all the main attractions in Edmonton, lovely neighborhood that felt safe, size of basement suit was good for a young family of 4. Communication with property owner was ok. Negatives:Even with the negatives listed below we would still stay at this property again. Just want people to be informed. 1) there were no dressers and only 12 hangers provided so prepare to live out of your suitcase2) the cleanliness under the beds was less than ideal. The fitted sheet on the master bed was way too small which caused it to roll up at night even with all my efforts to tuck it in. This caused you ended up sleeping directly on the mattress. Not great for cleanliness. 3) the biggest reason I scored this property lower was because there were a lot of things missing in the property that were on the listing. there was no hair dryer (which I informed the owner about and they said they could not replace at this time so I had to buy my own), no BBQ, no children's dinnerware (there was only a set of 4 of pretty much everything which made it hard to make meals for the family), we couldn't find an iron or ironing board. I would be caution of what it says it includes in the listing. If you for sure need something confirm before booking. 4) The "outdoor space" that is listed was actually a backyard full of weeds (not useable).

We had a nice stay. The home was comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet, which made for a peaceful and relaxing experience

Inside was clean. Outside there was tall weeds from front to back. When looking out the windows all you see is weeds. There was supposed to be an outdoor area and bbq grilling area but you couldn’t even get to the backyard because of all the weeds. We had planned accordingly to the listing as we knew it was going to be hot out so we thought we would use the bbq. That did not happen. No shampoo or conditioner. Listing said there was a communal pool but not sure where that was as nothing was posted how to get to it. Large bedroom is very loud from people upstairs. You could hear them talk, cough, kids crying etc

Excellent home

Really great experience! Check in is easy. The property is in suburbia but only like 15-20 mins from most places and there are really nice walking trails in the neighborhood. Top of the line new appliances: fridge/freezer, stove, oven, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and air fryer. Also washer and dryer with detergent supplied. My advice to future guests is that the upstairs neighbours can be quite noisy on the floor above so if you want to sleep in maybe bring ear plugs? This is of course dependent on who is upstairs at the time. Spacious place with two large bedrooms and plenty of closet space.
