Our family of 4 had a great time here! The space was kid-friendly, and included a few toys, games, and coloring supplies which was a BIG plus for our 3 and 5-year-old. It's close enough to the beach and shops that the kids could walk, and having the park across the street was perfect for a relaxing walk in the evening while letting the kids get some more energy out at the playground and fountain. The house was stocked with everything we needed (and then some!), and the outdoor shower was perfect for a post beach wash. We'd definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay. The house was clean and the location is perfect. The house has aged into some wonky shifted floors but that did not bother us. It had everything we needed.

This was a beautiful rental in a great location across from the central park in Cape Charles. Loved only being a couple blocks from the beach and downtown, and our kids enjoyed the little splash pad and soccer fields at the park. The house itself is definitely older, but well maintained and well equipped. Comfortable living areas, and a good setup with the rooms upstairs. Also great to have the fenced-in backyard, outdoor shower, and beach toys and cart right there for us. The only downside to us was it being a duplex and hearing some noise bleeding over from the other unit, but it was never too bad. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this place!

Really enjoyed our trip to Cape Charles, house was super cute, clean and comfortable. Home has everything you need for your stay! House located blocks away from everything and our dog loved walking around the park in the evenings, we will definitely be back to stay! Thank you!

I stayed with a few friends and a 7 month old. We had a great stay. The location was perfect and house was exactly as expected. Would stay again next time I’m in Cape Charles!

We had a wonderful time in this cute, quaint, clean home - perfect location to enjoy the beach, the town/restaurants, the playground, tennis courts and so much more! Outdoor shower was a huge plus!

Several things really stand out about this cute little beach house. One is that it is the best stocked VRBO I have ever stayed in. The owner clearly assumes that you will take only what you need. There were ziplocks, garbage bags, detergent, paper products, a first aid kit and so much more. The TV has access to streaming. The board game selection is a thoughtful mix for all ages. Another thing is that the owner was very responsive to a small problem we had. It was fixed. And finally the promised easy access to beach and town is accurate.Three teens and their slow walking grandmother were able to walk to the beach in about 12 minutes. We walked to all the restaurants and shops. This is not an upscale fancy place. It's a comfortable old fashioned beach house for a very reasonable price.

Quiet retreat & Excellent location

Wonderful weekend getaway to the quaint and quiet town of Cape Charles. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and the location was excellent-right across the street from the park, walkable to the town and the beach made it highly convenient! The house itself was a bit worn but well kept and spacious enough for our family of five and our dog. Overall, lovely stay and would recommend.

You can tell this property is well maintained. The kitchen had new appliances and was well stocked with everything you need to cook except food! The linens were fresh and the rooms were clean. This VBRO is 3 blocks from Mason street and 3 blocks from the beach. Best of all, you can walk everywhere! Great location, I'll definitely come back.

Our family stayed here for Christmas and it was the perfect spot for us. The house is located directly across from Central Park and walking distance to anywhere in town. The house was clean and in great condition. It had everything we needed. Would stay again.

Cozy family get away!

The house was beautifully decorated. Cozy and homey. Had lots of games, coloring and chalk for our kids. Across from a park and so close to downtown! Would definitely stay again!
