Ahh the serenity! Come and stay at this beach cottage in the historical Catherine Hill Bay. Only 8 mins walk to the beach with your bestie (human or canine). Surrounded by lots of bush walks that are also pet friendly. At night you can gaze up to the galaxy, and admire the darkness from the backyard, and when it’s cold, maybe even have a firepit roasted marshmallow!

While our cottage is located only 5-minutes walk from the kid’s playground and 8-minutes from the pristine Catherine Hill Bay beach, you will appreciate the large, fenced yard, providing a safe and secure space for outdoor play for children or pets. Guests have access to the whole house and gardens.

With three spacious bedrooms and a renovated open plan living area, Callistemon Beach Cottage comfortably accommodates up to six guests. With three bedrooms boasting a comfortable queen bed, double bed and two king single beds, ensuring a restful night's sleep for everyone.

With all linen provided, including snuggly doonas, bath towels, bathmats, tea towels you can start enjoying your holiday straight away. Don’t forget your beach towels though to enjoys those days on the beach.

While the kitchen is newly renovated, there is a BBQ, and plenty of places to enjoy your delicious meals both inside and outside on the deck, to share your holiday memories with friends and family. This is a perfect space for alfresco dining, playing games, or just enjoying the stars and fresh air backing onto the National Park. And if you need time to just chill and relax, there are three deck areas with benches, lounges, and a hammock so that you can.

Our cottage also has all those other amenities to make you feel at home. Stay entertained with games, TV, Wi-Fi, AppleTV/Netflix/Stan etc. Our cottage features a modern bathroom and two outdoor showers, definitely a must for after your beach swim!

Note: We warmly welcome your pets, and we kindly request that indoor pets treat our home and furniture with respect.

We had such a fantastic stay! The house was absolutely beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather the whole time, which made the trip even better. Our dog absolutely loved the huge backyard and having so much space to run around, and being just a short walk from the beach was a massive bonus. It was the perfect place to relax, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, dog-friendly getaway!

The house has everything we needed for our family stay. The yard and deck was a great size and the house was neatly maintained. Close to the beaches and Swansea. Jo was very hospitable and prompt to reply any questions. Would stay again.

Our day was amazing just what we needed, the perfect stress free long weekend. My 17-year-old daughter enjoyed many Zen moments on the deck and stargazing by the fire pit. Perfectly situated in the quiet part of Catherine Hill Bay close to the beach for long walks and swims in the lusciously clear waters. The house has plenty of room for everyone and our little old luxuriated in the huge backyard. Can’t wait to go back I think we’ll be regulars to this beautiful part of the world.Our host Jo provided great advice and recommendations. She made everything so easy. Couldn’t ask for more Bliss.

Beautifully appointed cottage

Callistemon was a fantastic find in the Catherine Hill Bay Area. The 3 bedroom cottage is thoughtfully furnished, with touches such as mirrors and luggage racks in the bedrooms, not to mention the beautifully ornate door frame to the bathroom! The living and dining areas are comfortable and well-equipped. The property itself is large and spacious, with plenty of room for any four-legged friends. The hosts were very helpful with any questions we had and they just made the whole process so simple from start to finish. Would highly recommend this property for anyone travelling to this beautiful area of the north coast!
