Selby Lakeside Cottage

Ce chalet de 2 chambres est une véritable maison de vacances. Avec de belles vues sur le lac et les plages qui permettent à la famille d'animal de compagnie à moins de cinq minutes en voiture, les activités nautiques pour tous sont un must.

La propriĂ©tĂ© dispose d'une toute nouvelle salle de bains de luxe avec baignoire Ăźlot et douche Ă  effet pluie ainsi que d'une cuisine rĂ©novĂ©e avec four micro-ondes et poĂȘle de taille standard offrant des installations trĂšs confortables. Il y a un garage et beaucoup d'espace pour garer votre bateau. Les animaux domestiques sont pris en charge avec une grande cour gazonnĂ©e entiĂšrement clĂŽturĂ©e.

La propriété dispose de deux chambres et peut accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 4 personnes.

Détendez-vous sur la véranda avant en regardant les couchers de soleil en constante évolution tout en dégustant des fruits de mer locaux à 100 mÚtres.

We had a truly lovely stay at Selby Lakeside Cottage in Swansea. From the moment we arrived, it felt calm, private and welcoming — exactly what we needed for a quiet, restorative break.The cottage is beautifully positioned right on the lake, with water views and a peaceful atmosphere that made mornings and evenings especially special. Sitting outside watching the light on the water was one of the highlights of our stay.Everything inside the cottage was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully set up. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the space felt warm and homely rather than just a holiday rental.We travelled with our dog and really appreciated how genuinely dog-friendly the property is. Having the lakefront and outdoor space meant lovely walks and relaxed time outside, which made the trip even better.We were visiting Swansea to spend time with family who were staying nearby, and Selby Lakeside Cottage was the perfect base — quiet and private, yet close enough to beaches, cafĂ©s and the town centre.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic and comfortable getaway.

I love Selby Lakeside Cottage. I have always liked Lakeside Drive as it's so peaceful and conveniently located. My dog had a wonderful time as the backyard is very dog friendly. This is the second time I have stayed there and hope to again.

A perfect trip away with spectacular sunsets. Enjoyed Hams Beach and Caves Beach and the proximity to the property. We had everything we needed especially access to a washing machine and the outdoor hose came in handy with the dog, after trips to the beach. The Channel Cafe was a favourite and the seafood so close by a bonus. Our dog felt right at home the moment we arrived which was of great comfort, being her first trip away with us. A special thank you to Donna for accommodating an extra day for us.

Large well kept and clean property. Kitchen well equipet however had difficulties with the coffee maker. Pod machine would be easier to operate. We had a very relaxing stay and can recommend the property.

Stayz is misleading. Listing said property has a hot tub with symbol like a jacuzzi, but there is none. It only has a bath in the bathroom.

Homely little place with picture perfect views

Homely little house with a quiet neighbourhood and picture perfect views of the lake from inside or outside of the home. The front and back yard was secure for our dogs. Communication with owner was perfect. Recommend this stay for sure !

Great location

Cute, tidy little cottage with frontage to the lake. Lovely to sit on the front verandah and watch the sunset. Close to shops, boat ramp, and short drive to some great swimming locations. Yard is fenced, but has 'pool fencing' along side of house to garage so would not be suitable for our tiny dog who would slip through the gaps. The house has 2 bedrooms. The children's room has a single bed and a trundle bed. Upon stripping the kid's bed of the sheets I discovered that both the matresses had large stains. I also removed the bedding from the queen bed discovering that the quilt inside the quilt cover was mouldy and stained. The shower had some mould, and some soap scum was visible on the glass. Kitchen switches on the power point are cracked and need replacing. Laundry is located at the back of the garage and the footpath to reach it is very uneven. Also lawn could do with a mow.

Swansea chillax

Selby cottage is a quaint cottage opposite Lake Macquarie with water views. Great view of the New Years Eve fire works. Relaxing destination and close to local shops. Good size yard for our fur baby. Donna was easy to comminicate with Great stay.

Perfect location.

The home was well equipped with full kitchen. Great to sit out on the front verandah and watch the sunset. Home was tastefully decorated and felt comfortable and relaxing. Great location

Location was perfect, enjoyed some beautiful sunsets House is clean, highly recommend. Donna was a pleasure to deal with. Only downside was backyard lawn needed a mow and bindi"s were a problem, grandson visited and could not go on lawn due to the bindi's. (Small child). Still did not spoil my stay !!

Loved my stay at thus 2 bedroom cottage right in Swansea. Could see the waterfront directly across road from front deck. Could walk to shops, supermarkets, cafe and restaurants. The cottage was much nicer than the pictures. Will definitely be staying there again. Great value for money.
