Relaxing space

The family stayed here during a convention. It was comfortable and we loved having the ping pong table in the basement. The apple tree had ripe apples ready and my kids loved picking and eating them. Thank you for a great stay!

The property itself was very nice it had lots of accommodations. The location was in a nice neighborhood with a short drive to downtown for things to do. But the house was left uncleaned. We didn’t have enough towels until we washed the ones left in the washer from the previous guests. There was hair left in the shower drains. Probably was just a one time thing but we were not very impressed with the cleanliness.

The house was very clean and well kept. The location was great. Quiet and an easy trip to downtown Milwaukee. The coffee was awesome too. Thank you!

I love the house, would definitely stay here again. I appreciate the coffee that was left to use and the bloody wash as I forgot to bring some. These little details are important to me and can definitely make a stay better.

It's not a bad little house, decently equipped and was convenient for our purposes. But it was less than clean when we arrived, and the carbon monoxide detector was beeping--it was on us to buy new batteries and try to fix it. Most significantly, the house has a significant mold problem--the smell was strong and unpleasant--and the AC could not keep the house at temperature. We twice messaged the manager about it and she said she would send someone to address--but never did. So at 375/night, we cannot recommend this property.

This is a really nice place. Unfortunately we came right after the basement flooded with the crazy 1000 year storm. It was all dried out and ready for carpet to go back in. But the fans were still going and it wasn't ready yet. But i won't hold that against them. They gave me a credit and i'm sure it will be back to normal shortly. I would definitely stay again. This storm was unfortunate for the entire city and a lot of people got it worse. They did a good job drying out the basement and doesnt look like it will take much to get it back to normal. The other floors were fine

Hi Eric, thank you so much for your stay!! I appreciate the understanding about the flood, it was a historic flood event and thankfully we were able to get a water mitigation team in right away! The basement is my favorite room in the house, so it’s too bad you weren’t able to enjoy it during your trip. I spent the fall drywalling and installing Lvp flooring so the basement is back to full use! I hope you’ll stay again soon so you can see the renovations, play pool/ping pong, or watch movies in front of the fireplace with a great sound system downstairs!

Kitchen space and living room were decorated nicely. Coffee Bar was great, and home was roomy. Host quick to respond to queries. 2nd floor bed was comfy.However, listing shows pics of rooms that were not accurate. Appeared staged. The outdoor space wasn’t usable due to weeds, berries and apples all over, and cushions were left out in weather. Main floor mattresses should be replaced. Towels were found in dryer in basement still damp. New heating and cooling system was recently installed but the humidity could not be controlled and made the ventilation sweat all over basement entertainment area.Lots of bugs found crawling around house, and base of dead flowers found in dining area.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay! We recently completed renovations in the basement and redecorated the living room as mentioned in the listing, and there is a photoshoot scheduled for next week to update the listing photos! Lawn service happens weekly but sometimes needs to be rescheduled due to weather, so it may have been 10 days since the last service when you arrived. We hope you enjoyed the fresh raspberries, strawberries, and mulberries from the garden! There is a dehumidifier in the basement (noted in the guest book) which we usually run in the summertime. Hope your trip to Milwaukee was enjoyable and that you choose to stay at our house again soon!
