A great place to stay. An extremely well stocked kitchen, pots, pans, dishes, etc. etc.The beds were super comfy, everything was so clean and the sunsets looking out the front room over the water were a real treat. The hostess was so nice and helpful!

Comfortable stay

We enjoyed our stay! It was quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting by the dock, paddling in the water, watching the beautiful sunsets and bonfires.

Nice rustic cottage stay

Nice rustic cottage stay. Place was well maintained, though some of the kitchen wares were dated just like a place would be if you had your own cottage. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Great location close to Perth and Ottawa

We all enjoyed the quiet location with a sand beach and shallow access to lake with canoe and kayak included. The nearby Carleton Place sand beach was a good alternative. The cottage met our needs at a relatively affordable price.

Lovely Country Cabin

We enjoyed our stay and would consider a return at some point. The only drawback was the great number of mosquitoes due to weather.

Thanksgiving at a cottage

This was a great place to stay. Quiet and relaxing with access to a canoe to fish and enjoy the lake. We had many campfires at night and enjoyed sitting on the deck looking out onto the lake watching loons diving into the water for fish. We had a great Thanksgiving in this cozy log cabin. The town of Perth is a10mins drive and we were able to enjoy this small historic town.

Beautiful Lakeview Cottage

Perfect for our group of 7 adults and 2 kids. We had a great time, the cottage was very comfortable, as were the beds. The bedroom on the 2nd floior is large yet cosy. We had fabulous weather all week with just a few showers. The sunsets were fantastic. The lake is shallow for a good distance from shore - our 3 and 1/2 year old loved being in the water. Ther were a lot of water toys for both kids. We took the canoe out several times. We even saw some wildlife - beaver, loons, ducks and ducklings, eagles, and a fisher. Campfires and meals in the gazebo made for special family times. Perth is so close by that day trips into town are almost a must! Quaint little town.7 Definitely thinking of coming back!
