It was the hottest weekend of the summer! We had the AC pumping and fans blowing. Air fryer, ninja blender, coffee maker all including, a nice quiet spot with lots of space for what we needed. Bedrooms got warm during the day as we had the fan blowing into the main living area but as the night went on it cooled off. Nice and close to the golf course and all other amenities

Excellent location for all your needs. Walking distance from golf course was a huge benefit for us. Nice sized yard for games and activities.

Falcon Lake Mini-Vacation

Cozy Cottonwood Cabin is an older cabin, but well maintained. Our host was prompt to answer any questions. It is situated in the town of Falcon Lake, close to the beach, bakery and other amenities.The kitchen was well equipped; the dining and sitting areas were roomy, and overall we enjoyed our stay.Be aware that guests must bring their own bedding, i.e. sheets, pillows, blankets

Regarding bedding: since we don't have a washer and dryer on-site, we’re unable to provide fresh linens for each guest’s stay. That’s why we ask guests to bring their own sheets, pillows, and blankets—a detail noted in the listing, but worth emphasizing for everyone’s planning. Your helpful notes make a big difference. It was great! Cabin was clean and cooled off, on the hot day we checked in. Had everything we needed during our stay. It was near to all of our vacation activities. Wifi was excellent and the shower was hot.

Easy check-in/out, fast wifi, convenient location. It was not shared in the listing that you have to bring your own bedding and towels, and that paired with the fact that you have to bring your trash to the local dumpster as well as a very long cleaning list the guests are responsible for prior to leaving (wiping the inside walls of the fridge?!) makes the 150 cleaning fee seem unreasonable. The host communicated the need to bring towels and bedding only days before the reservation. The beds on the listing have bedding, therefore the listing is not entirely accurate.

I’m sorry there was confusion regarding linens and departure expectations. While the VRBO listing outlines the general house rules, the requirement to bring your own bedding and beach/bath towels is clearly stated in the VRBO automated pre-arrival welcome message, and I also sent a separate reminder prior to your stay to ensure this was communicated in advance. To clarify, the detailed cleaning checklist is intended for guests who book privately outside of VRBO and choose to opt out of the cleaning fee. It does not apply to VRBO bookings where the cleaning fee has been paid and professional cleaning is arranged. A simple message or question prior to or during your stay would have allowed me to clarify everything quickly and ensure there was no misunderstanding. I’m sorry if this distinction was not fully clear prior to your stay. I appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to clarify for future guests.
