Outside of property needs attention. I communicated this to the property managers. Due to weeds, house tiles and broken pieces of wood in the driveway and on the grass, a shared driveway that should only be for one car and not shared with another property, made for a disappointing first impression. Once heading inside the property, the accomodation was lovely. Clean, styled well and comfortable. It’s an older granny flat with a fresh look inside and was lovely. Such a pity the outside let the inside down.The property is advertised with an outside area to sit for coffee or a cool drink, but there was no furniture outside to sit, and the patio overlooks the attached premises weed filled backyard. Despite paying full payment and security bond, a month before travel, I was asked to pay another security bond a few days before holiday. It took messages back and forth before they realised their mistake and that i did not need to pay more money. A third party operates the managing of the accomodation and it took hours before any messages were answered, and texts were initially sent with links to click for payment rather than keeping communications within the stays app as suggested.

We sincerely apologise for the condition of the outdoor area on arrival. You're absolutely right that first impressions matter. We've followed up with our maintenance team, and the weeds, tiles, and wood have since been addressed. The outdoor furniture is currently being replaced with more up-to-date pieces to improve the space and better reflect what’s advertised. We also appreciate your comments regarding the shared driveway and will look into providing clearer information for future guests. Lastly, we apologise for the bond payment confusion. There was a technical issue with the app, and while we worked as quickly as possible to resolve it, we understand it caused frustration. We’re reviewing our processes with the third-party team to ensure clearer communication going forward. Thank you again for your honest feedback.
