We really enjoyed our stay at this property! The layout of the house is great, with a lot of space for everyone to hang out in a common space. The hot tub, pool, and basement games kept everyone busy!

Beautiful home located close to Warren Dunes State Park for beach fun and sunset views! Elizabeth was a wonderful hostess. The kids enjoyed the yard, the pool and the hot tub. Sets close to highway that can get you quickly and easily to other beach towns. We will definitely be back!

Relaxing Summer Retreat

Willow Dunes was an exceptional place for our family to get away, relax and recharge. This home is in proximity to everything SW Michigan has to offer; Beaches, family fun, good restaurants, exceptional ice cream, Dunes and if you want to stay in - the pool, jacuzzi and basement game room provide hours of enjoyment. The owner is exceptional and super responsive and anticipatory to anything you may need to make your stay more comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and will be back again for sure. Highly recommend Willow Dunes for a home away from home.

Michigan retreat

We loved everything about this property. The house is great for vacation entertaining. Very clean, comfortable and welcoming. The yard is amazing with the huge pool fire pit and patio. The host is also very responsive to any problems. You might have. It was the best rental experience ever highly recommend.

Something for everyone!

This was our second visit to this lovely home and it's still an amazing place to stay. There's plenty of room to spread out
one group could be cooking in the GIANT kitchen, another playing pool/ping pong in the basement, or relaxing in the hot tub. The more outdoorsy folks could make s'mores around the fire pit. The jumbo dining room table was more than enough space for me to work and my friends to have lunch. I'm honestly not sure how anyone could come up with a negative comment. The place is spotless, with amenities for days. I'd go back in a heartbeat
and we weren't even there when the pool was open!

Excellent Location

Pros: The location is convenient to Warren Dune State Park beach (2 minutes!) and restaurants like Greenbush and Staymaker in Three Oaks. It’s only about 20 minutes to St. Joseph Silver Beach. The house is roomy with a good size kitchen and huge island. The dining room table is large. The washer/dryer is convenient. Ample towels. Big backyard with turkey and fawn sightings. TV was nice for watching a football game. Appliances were nice. Dishwasher pods and other products provided. Nearby railroad track sounds were entertaining for toddlers, but maybe a negative for some. Cons: The kitchen needs an inventory taken. There were only 7 forks, no decent frying pans, no big cookie sheets for pizza, etc. The furniture was cute but not very comfy. The pool was so cold it was unusable- as if it was just filled. The pool table and ping pong table have seen better days and the equipment was worn out. Overall, it was a nice place but for our family and the price point, it disappointed in regard to the reasons it was chosen.

Good family beach house

We love southwest Michigan and love the lake and Sawyer. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the pool. It was way bigger than we expected! The living space is huge and perfect for family meals.

Great stay

My family stayed at the house and had a wonderful time. The pool was a big reason we chose the house and it was just perfect for my kids. Couldn’t ask for a better location either! Looking forward to staying there in the future!

Great week away!

This house was perfect for a week away with three children and a dog! The pool was a huge hit! Very well maintained and refreshing with plenty of floats and room for the whole family. We enjoyed the outdoor seating for our meals and the fire pit was perfect for evening fires. Great proximity to the Warren Dunes, as well as shops (ice cream and antiques, our favorites!), several nature preserves with hiking trails, and a little “fun park” for kids (go-carts, bumper cars, mini golf, etc). The house was a great size for a family to spread out and everyone thought the beds were comfy. Plenty of games and books for a rainy day. Elizabeth is a wonderful host!

Family get away

Home was clean and taken care of. Property has all the necessities for a relaxing stay. Location allows for several different activities from food, drink, activites and the dunes/beach.

The property was as listed and more. Everything you needed was there. It was clean and homey. Meijer was just down the highway. We drove to New Buffalo, 20 min ride, ate at the Stray Dog. OMG the food was very good. I was disappointed it wasn’t warm enough to use the pool. Maybe next time because there will definitely be a next time.

Birthday weekend

The house was perfect for all of us. Plenty of space for all and lots to occupy our time. We spent evenings in the comfortable kitchen area playing games. The hot tub was an added bonus. We will recommend the house to others and hopefully be back. Love this area!

Every part of the process from booking to leaving the property was made very easy by the property owner . We even accidentally locked ourselves out and vrbo had no issue contacting the owner ( my phone was left inside ) The place is a clean and welcoming place to stay ! Wanting to visit again :)

Perfect little getaway from Chicago

The property is really nice and modern. It's a great little getaway and is so close to the Warren dunes. There is plenty to do north and south within a 15 minute drive. I have to give extra credit for cleanliness; the place allows pets and I didn't notice any pet hair on the furniture. Good job! The property manager was very responsive and accommodating when we had trouble working the themastat. I'm not very tech savvy and she was able to adjust the themastat to our liking without coming to the property. Wonderful place for a family to stay!

Clean spacious house close to everything

This house did not disappoint! House was clean. Lots of room to spread out. Close to different things. We would absolutely stay here again! Elizabeth was great to work with! They accepted our dogs. Yard has lots of room. Hot tub and fire pit were great!

Great Thanksgiving Weekend Away

A nice get-away for the Thanksgiving holiday and birthday. The hot tub was great, the fireplace was used every night and the pool table and table tennis (ping-pong) was so much fun! Despite the cold, we visited the Warren Dunes for some sunset photos - which was a short 5 minute drive. Very generous that bar soap, body lotion, laundry packs and firewood were provided for our stay - never had that before. Even though we only had 4, the kitchen table would be great for at least 12 people. Also, we brought some of our favorite games to play, however, they had quite the selection from which we also played. We will definitely come back again!

Great house, great location to explore beautiful MI!

The house was perfect with all the essentials, so much room and so much to enjoy with the hot tub, fire pit was perfect for star gazing and relaxing, and the pool table allowed for some good indoor fun. Love the kitchen with all the seating. Definitely the heart of the house. Would recommend this to anyone looking to explore MI wineries and breweries. Thanks for a great stay!!

Originally from Oak Park, but now in Valparaiso, we love this area and hope to land here in our later years. Taking on a fixer-upper in a pandemic was comically challenging at times but a welcome distraction from the news of the day. We planned every change with the hopes of providing the low-key, comfortable, and relaxing getaway. We hope you enjoy!!

Potential was the word for what we saw in this house. There was much to do as we entered a house filled with dated tile, vinyl floors and other 70's remnants. But the proximity to Warren Dunes, the opportunity for a real transformation, and the room inside and out to create a retreat (along with the sprawling picture-perfect maple in the backyard) sold us on the property.

The open vista of this 1+ acre property provides sunshine and space and offers country-living views from every room. With easy access to all the Backroad Bikeways, and large a garage for storage, it's a great spot for bike enthusiasts! The huge wood-burning fireplace, hot tub, and evergreens will provide the perfect backdrop for snow covered getaways as well.
