This house was perfect! My mom, my family and my sister’s family did our yearly summer trip here and everyone had the best time. The pool was perfect (especially with younger kids), the outside area was super nice and the hosts were insanely kind! The house is close to multiple nice beaches and restaurants and if you want to head into New Buffalo it’s a quick easy drive! The kids are already asking when we are going back!

Wow! The house and pool are extremely clean! Plenty of room for our family of 8. Chris was the perfect host. He responded to my questions in minutes. I highly recommend this home and our Host!!! We had a great trip to Michigan and hope to be back soon.

Secluded Setting But Close To Everything

First and foremost the owner, Chris is great! He was readily available for any questions or concerns. This property is awesome.The house sits in a secluded area, yet close to anything you could want. There are several beaches close by, lots of restaurants, markets and shopping nearby too. Our family of 10 ranging from 70 to 2 had a wonderful time. Boredom never set in thanks to the beautiful heated pool. Down the road is a fun splash park that the kids loved. The house is clean and well stocked. The well thought about decor is warm and welcoming. All 10 of us had a fabulous time and can't wait to return.

My wife, Susie, and I love hosting and take pride in creating memorable experiences for our guests. We own two vacation rentals in Harbor Country. Our first home, The Rambling Hideaway in Union Pier, has earned consistent 5-star reviews for both the property and the service we provide, and is in the top 10% of rental properties on Airbnb nationally. In 2021, we purchased and fully renovated this second home in Lakeside—adding a pool, new outdoor living spaces, and high-quality furnishings throughout. Since then, it too has received nearly all 5-star reviews.

We fell in love with this property in 2021 because of its location and potential. Tucked away on a large wooded lot with spacious front and back yards, it offers both privacy and convenience. The house sits on the lake side of Red Arrow Highway, just a short walk to the beach via the new pedestrian pathway. We designed the renovations with guests in mind—installing a heated pool with a landscaped patio, upgrading lighting and furnishings, and creating indoor and outdoor spaces that feel both stylish and welcoming.
