Home is located in historic Norwalk. A relaxing farmhouse style getaway for short or longer stays. One night stay minimum is accepted. Private backyard retreat with outdoor grill and fire pit. Minutes from Cedar Point, Kalahari, Sports Force Park, Summit Race, Island Ferry. Thomas Edison birthplace in Milan OH.
The space
Off street parking, Private backyard. Arcade game with 300 built in games for unlimited fun. Central air conditioning. Full kitchen, separate dining area. First floor bedroom has a queen size bed. 2 upstairs bedrooms has 1 queen and 1 full beds in each bedroom. Washer and dryer that guests can use laundry detergent is provided. Main living area includes smart tv and wifi.

The host was very helpful with any questions i had and we was able to check in early with no extra charges. Directions was accurate. The property is mins within many restaurants, grocery stores and about a 20 min drive to cedar point. The house is plenty big enough for a group of friends or a family of 5. I had mentioned i enjoy an evening fire and he had fire wood every night i was there.

in town for wedding

We were in town for a wedding and decided to try this instead of one of the local hotels. The communication was great with the property owner and the property was cleaned and perfect for a quick night stay.

Perfect home for a family stay.

Plenty of room to sleep and able to control the temperature of each room upstairs and main level. WiFi fast, room for kids to play in backyard and kitchen fully stocked.

Perfect Little House

This was the perfect little house for our weekend. The house has what you need, the beds are very comfortable. The arcade games are a fun addition. If you’re looking for a cute little place to stay in the Norwalk/Sandusky area this is your place! And the host was wonderful to work with, great communication. Thanks for the stay!

Marathon Halfway Point

Needed a spot halfway between Minneapolis and Boston and this place was great. A/C was great and master bed was extremely comfortable and im picky.

A place to sleep

Just needed a place to sleep. Bed was clean and comfortable. My husband did enjoy the arcade games! And The Freight House has awesome food just a minute away..best cheese curds ever!!!!

Perfect choice

I booked this house for its central location due to a fishing trip. It was my husband, son, my father and my brother in law and they were extremely pleased with the amenities, the location, and just the general comfort of the property. Highly recommend. Communication with owner/manager was so smooth and responsive.

Close to beach stay

Good place! The property was as described in the listing. Pros: Lots of space, good amenities, grill, private backyard, driveway parking, secure space, comfortable, family friendly, close to stores and food. Cons: Could have been a bit cleaner, it was a bit dusty and had cobwebs around. Overall: We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Had everything we needed.

Sleep House

Just off main drag so convenient yet still quiet...just needed an overnight with Grandkids after long day at Cedar Point...hence- video games a hit...would not recommend for your basketball squad as 2nd story ceiling a little low..worked for us!

Little gem in Norwalk

This was our second stay here and it’s the perfect place for us while visiting family. Easy check in process and the owner is so helpful. Added bonus
.We all love the video games! The kids were excited for our second stay because they remembered the house with the games:) This will be our home away from home visiting family from now on.

Close to the track

The electric outside grill was awesome! It looked small, but we sure loaded it up! The fire pit was nice, but be sure to bring your own wood. The kitchen was adequate. Bring your own Ziploc bags, saran wrap, and foil. The race track was only 10 minutes away! What a timesaver this place was! And the arcade games are definite plus! Great communication with the host!

Property was cute and seasonally decorated. Kids and husband enjoyed the arcade game! Beds were comfortable. Would recommend washing bath rugs in between guests. Excellent communication and easy to find! Thank you!!

Home before my home!

Everything from start to finish worked out swimmingly!!! Great Host....very accommodating, timely etc....Steve worked well with my Mother n law in making sure she had a roof over her head while she waited to be able to get in to her new home!!

Double Booked

I booked the property in November '22 for the 4/8/24 eclipse. I followed up with the host a few months prior to the stay to let him know how excited my family was. The day before the eclipse, my wife, kids and myself made the 2.5 hr drive and showed up to find the space was rented out from underneath us. The host then had the gall to blame VRBO instead of taking the responsibility for the double booking. To say we were disappointed to no longer have a place to stay on the path of totality, after more than a year of planning, is a giant understatement. The situation was very unprofessional and a horrible way to treat people.

Cozy home close to cedar point

Enjoyed our stay. This was the best stocked Vrbo rental we've had. We were able to cook most meals from home.. Plenty of beds for all 8 of us. Two rooms upstairs were perfect for the kids. Only 1 bathroom, but with good planning of showers we had no issues with that. Neighborhood seemed safe, we spent almost every night winding down near the fireplace, plenty of outdoor furniture and firewood stocked. Our main focus was cedarpoint and it was only a 15min drive away. Went shopping at Sandusky mall with a small variety of stores. Walmart/ grocery stores are very close under 5 min away from house. If you are looking for a beach to visit Nickel Plate Beach was clean and kids even swam in it(cold) Overall this property was 5 stars and well deserved, very diligent host that seemed to think of everything we needed. Definitely would stay again and recommend the property to others.
