Perfect apartment getaway

Excellent place to stay! Walking distance to town and rainbow falls! Loved that we had our own parking spot. The apartment was filled with everything we would need for the stay and more. The hosts communicated well and gave a lot of suggestions on things to do on the island. I loved our stay and will stay again when I return!

Everything was perfect. The host was very friendly and gave great recommendations. The apartment was clean and cozy. This place really had ANYTHING you needed. The location was in walking distance to town and the bay. I highly recommend staying here for a great experience.

Lovely home base in a quiet area

The experience at this space was lovely. It was clean--and the kitchen was well equipped to cook home meals. Everything was in good condition when we arrived, and we were very glad to stay in this peaceful home. In the master bedroom and the secondary bedroom, you get a good view of the sunrise and can see a wonderful glimpse of the bay. The location is rather central and perfect for someone looking to do explorations on the East side of the island.

Very clean. Excellent location. Everything you need. Great communication. Extra touches.

My husband and I spent several nights at this condo. We loved all of the special touches making this a home away from home. There was a gear closet stocked with beach and swim equipment and the kitchen offered a basket filled with local favorites! Having a designated parking spot and laundry facilities were important features for us. The condo complex was nice, with a friendly vibe. I loved the “free” table in the laundry room where residents left things that they didn’t need anymore and others made use of the items.The location of this condo is perfect! You are close to sightseeing, retail, restaurants, and beaches. We snorkeled, visited the ‘lmiloa planetarium, viewed sunset and starry skies at Mauna Kea, tunneled in KaĆ«mana Caves lava tubes (flashlights provided in your condo), explored the amazing Hilo Farmers market, and checked out the local waterfall.The hosts provided a helpful folder with information about the property and surrounding area. We also received great communication leading up to our reservation date about checking in and the amenities.Wendy and Jeff, Michigan

The location is great. Easy walk with toddler and child to downtown Hilo. The apartment is really clean and your in town contact is very helpful. Just a few things they could fix, the shower curtain is a little short so the bathroom floor is usually wet. No beach towels in the gear closet and only 1 bath towel per person in the condo. They don't want sand in the apartment which is fair, but a stacking shoe rack could help. Coin operated laundry had us doing sink laundry and hanging it. The rod on the lower bunk to hold the macrame curtain up kept falling down on my toddler. We enjoyed our stay and the location is great. This is a good enough spot for a family of 4 like us. It is very clean. Just a few fixes and it'd be great. Understand that it is in an older building. This condo is nicely updated. All kitchen essentials were in the condo and good.
