The cottage was clean, and cozy; smaller than it appeared in pictures, but large enough to accommodate our party of 6. The property had a large yard anddriveway on a dead end road, with scenic views of Solberg lake.The deck is in need of repair/ replacement before it becomes a tripping hazard.We had a wonderful time and would recommend Sunrise cottage to family and friends.

The wood decking needs some repair. There were a couple spots that looked/felt like one could easily step right through and suffer injury. We were, of course, disappointed that the lake had been drawn-down to leave only about 18 inches of water at the end of the pier. But we are aware that lakeside property owners didn't have any control over that, Still,...disappointing.

Thank you for the detailed feedback. We take the deck concern seriously and, after inspecting it personally, repaired the small opening you noted to prevent any tripping hazard; a few boards will be replaced this spring. We understand the disappointment about the low water level at the pier, but as you noted, the lake draw-down is a decision made by the county and lake association, not something property owners control. We're sorry this happened right before your stay.

Great place to stay!

We had a wonderful time here! Great communication, super easy process and the house was very clean. There’s a binder with everything you need to know- super organized and there are so many “extras” at the house that you don’t really have to bring much for outdoor or indoor games, kitchen items, or even nightlights. Would definitely book again! Thank you for a wonderfully relaxing weekend away!

Cleanest VRBO we've had in 10 years of renting! Host has everything you may need during your stay, we never had to leave the property for a forgotten item. Would certainly book here again in the future!!
