Appreciated the communication by the property manager, quick to respond and knowledgeable. Place was incredibly clean and provided great kitchen amenities!

The perfect post-engagement getaway!

Being able to stay in a place like this just hours after being proposed to was truly perfect. The attention to detail in every room was extremely apparent, and felt extremely clean/fresh like a nice hotel! We were able to utilize the outdoor space really well to cook multiple meals before walking to the beach. The house was able to feel spacious and comfortable simultaneously, especially in the living room with the fireplace and big couch. Overall, my fiancée and I deeply enjoyed staying here for our first weekend together engaged and can't recommend it enough!!

We had a wonderful stay in Fernhaven (the main house on the property). There were six of us and the house held us all comfortably and served as a nice home base for our Northern Michigan adventures. The house was clean, cozy, and full of charm and character. The location really cannot be beat, being just a short walk from downtown Frankfort and the beach. We met one of the owners during our stay and had the pleasure of talking with him at length about the property, their story, and their plans. It is readily clear that Mike and Heather are building something special with their Open Air Living business (and lifestyle), and that comes through in the property and their attention to details. And it was especially clear in their communications and extra level of care they offered to make sure everything was perfect. We will definitely be back!
