‘Little Kaiteriteri Retreat is a beautiful family home, with open plan living a large rumpus room downstairs for the children, many family board games and a cozy living area perfect for family movie nights. The wonderfully appointed kitchen is fully equipped for shared meals and you can create a warm and inviting atmosphere in the evening with the use of the ambient fireplace. The home and tranquil setting provides a feeling of being on vacation in the Mediterranean.

Just a few minutes’ walk away is Little Kaiteriteri Beach which is an idyllic location to enjoy swimming, paddle boarding, snorkelling, fishing, kayaking or exploring the rock pools. The little lagoon which runs between the two Kaiteriteri beaches offers hours of fun for the children, along with mini golf, children’s playground and flying fox. For those who enjoy mountain biking the Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park offers great riding through the Recreational Reserve. You can top off your day with drinks and food from one of the local eateries or a delicious real fruit ice cream from the Kaiteriteri store.

Kaiteriteri is known to be the gateway to the breathtaking Abel Tasman National Park, with many water taxi and ferry services, providing convenient access to various points within the park for walkers and kayakers. There are so many local treasures including the charming seaside village of Mapua which is a perfect mix of Kiwiana, beautiful quality shopping, art galleries wine bars and a craft brewery.
