Best Beach Resort

After making last minute arrangements for an 8 day catamaran cruise we had to scramble to find a place to stay for another week + on Tahiti. Anita's place next to The Tahihit Pearl Beach fit the bill. All the amenities of the resort in a spacious two story condo at a fraction of the cost. After touring Tahiti's perimiter we think the Pearl has the best beach and the best ocean and poolside dining! What a great place to relax and or head out to explore the island from!

Unfortunately, my experience staying was absolutely horrible! The property owner, Anita, doesn’t take any responsibility for her property. She blames everyone else for all that had gone wrong during our stay! This is your property, own it!

Great Location for Relaxing

Apartment was well-appointed for spending over a week there. We enjoyed the peacefulness and starry skies at night as well as the opportunity to use resort amenities throughout the stay. The beach is great to splash around in and super convenient. There is a small market an easy walk away for morning baguettes and a basics, but for a better range of groceries it is easier to take the bus to a supermarket if you don't have a car (the bus stop is not far.) The neighbourhood always felt safe for walking. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return in the future.

Beautiful views and lovely home

This was a beautiful home but is a two-story which we were not aware of (my husband had knee surgery back in December so would have preferred a single level). Due to a lack of language barriers, we were still able to arrive at the apartment (with help from the Hotel next door). This apartment has two balconies (one on both levels) which were very nice. The air condition unit in the living room was out of order (per owner) and wasn't informed until the day or two before travel. The wood planks on the floor do need repairing as some are loose. Overall, I would definitely stay there again and would give this property a 4.9 rating.

Everything was good

We have some problems with the ac not coming in like we like. But ok I thing if you have a English rules and policies with the French will be helpful. Ps front door box key was hard to open with no outside light we had to use our phone. We enjoy our stay at the arue property. Looking forward to a next vacation. Thank you.

Relaxing Stay

This condo had two lovely balconies with fantastic views of a black sand beach and a huge infinity pool. The sound of the waves at night was wonderful to fall asleep to. The condo had everything we needed, including a very comfy bed, electric blinds to block the sun when needed and a small but well equipped kitchen. We had to contact the owner on one occasion for a small issue and she responded almost immediately and sorted it out. There was mention in a previous post about spongy floors in places which we experienced but the owner is having these fixed according to a previous post. There is a restaurant at the hotel which this condo is a part of but other than that there really aren't any other restaurants within walking distance near by. We were able to catch the local bus to the right of the resort on the main road to get groceries. The bus ride was about 10 minutes. We also took this bus to Papeete on several occasions to shop and go to the local market. Overall, we really enjoyed our time at this condo.

Relaxing

The view from the apartment is excellent. The swimming pull is as good as any I’ve experience. The on site restaurant and bar are fine. For our purposes the property was in good shape, but it will need work in she future. The wood composite floors have soft spots. The downstairs AC doesn’t work. It could use a few kitchen item, like a corkscrew and vegetable pellet that was sharp enough to peel veggies. The owner was cooperative land helpful.

Une adresse à retenir

Excellente adéquation avec notre recherche. Très agréable duplex. Bien conçu, bien agencé, bien organisé. Très bon emplacement, proche d’une belle plage, et d’un hôtel dont on peut profiter des prestations. Tout pour passer de très belles vacances. Nous y retournons avec grand plaisir.

Nous avons passé 18 jours a Tahiti dans ce superbe appartement en duplex. l'accueil de nos hôtes fut parfait. l'appartement est très bien équipé, il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour des vacances idéales. la situation est parfaite pour partir en excursions ou en randonnée nous avons profité de la superbe piscine et de la plage. La possibilité de pouvoir faire du sport (aqua bike et aquagym) est un plus vraiment agréable.
