Steps to Beach - Walk to Surfside & Minot Beach!

High Season June 15- September 15 - Sunday to Sunday is a typical summer rental. Exceptions to be made.

Upgrades done for 2026 season - new siding, windows, insulation, front deck, back deck, full interior paint refresh.

Newly renovated 3 bed 2.5 bath (+outdoor shower!) located in magical Minot, 3 houses from the beach. Main floor consists of a living room w gas fire place and direct access to the back deck, dining room, newly renovated kitchen w granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances that overlooks the back deck, back yard and swing set. Half bath. Also located on the first floor is a bonus room/ in law suite w new queen pull out couch, kitchenette w mini fridge, full bath w stand up shower also w direct access to the back deck.

Second floor offers three bedrooms and a full bath (stand up shower). The master has a new king sized Thuma bed w new memory foam mattress, pottery barn crib, and stackable washer/ dryer. Second bedroom: new full sized memory foam bed. Third bedroom: two new memory foam twin beds that can be pushed together to make a king.

The outdoor living area has a Weber gas grill, teak dining table w four seats (additional chairs and tables available) , four chairs around gas fire pit.

The best part of the house is that it is located three houses away from a “private” beach, or beach just for this end of the neighborhood (must climb rock hill to access beach). Hear the waves and smell the ocean from anywhere in the house or while relaxing on the back deck. Additionally a 10 minute walk to the main entrance to Minot beach. Dead end street w culda sack. Great walking neighborhood w views of the ocean and the pond. Stunning sunsets over Musquashcut Pond.

Equidistant to downtown Scituate and downtown Cohasset.

Mid summer get Scituate get away

Great location with short walk to the beach. Yard with swing set and b-ball hoop in driveway were enjoyed by our grandkids. House was charming and comfortable.

Seagate getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Seagate. I contacted the host with questions before my trip and he was great with his response and help. Located in a great area and it was a nice stay! Highly recommend this house. Very clean, spacious and decorated for a beach getaway. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

Fantastic home close to the water

Our family was thrilled with the cleanliness and size of the home and yard for our needs. All items required for our stag were available in the home. We were visiting the area for a family event and will definitely rent this home again when we come again!

Family Reunion

We enjoyed being back in Scituate to visit extended family and the house was located within walking distance of everyone we went up to visit. We had a great time showing off Scituate to our newest family members and plan to return next summer with the rest of our family.

Modern clean house. Walk to sea shore. Fabulous sunrise and sunsets.

Family friendly house with annexed guest wing is perfect for an escape by the sea. Sunrise and sunsets are incredible. Quiet friendly neighbourhood with good selection of shops and groceries in nearby Cohassett. Communication with owner was seamless. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect beach getaway

Stayed for a week with family. The house is wonderful! Each morning we had coffee on the back deck and watched the local bunnies hop around! The house had comfortable beds and space to spread out. The outdoor shower was perfect after days at the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the essentials to make our stay enjoyable. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a fabulous vacation!

Great Family Rental!

This property was a great fit for our family trip. The house was the perfect size for our family of 4 + grandparents. The yard was great for kids to run around and the swingset was a nice outlet. Surfside beach is a quick walk from the house. We'd definitely rent again!

Incredible family vacation house

The house was incredible and it comes with every possible amenity you need for a beach house vacation: beach chairs, corn hole, balls toys, towels, literally everything. This was the best house we rented in 5 years coming to Scituate. Will definitely be coming back.

Perfect family getaway

The house was very clean and well maintained and had all the amenities a family with small children could ask for. The back yard and play set was a big hit and the quiet street was great for after dinner walks. A bit of driving was involved but everything was within 20 minutes including great restaurants, bakeries, state park, playgrounds etc. Would definitely recommend to others and return for another stay!

Great, quiet beach house

We loved staying at this house! Often vrbo/other listing site's house or condo/apartment rentals leave something to be desired when compared to the description/pictures. Blake's Scituate property is NOT one of those experiences. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. The wetbar and family room are great because they are seperated enough from the rest of the house that it served as a spot to work or read while the family could watch movies in the living room on other side of house. Beds were comfy and the master bedroom has a nice ocean cross breeze when the evenings are cool. We'll be back!

Great property just steps from a local beach. No huge crowds to deal with. House was clean with a good beach vibe! Check in was seamless. Definitely would recommend.
