Beautiful home south of town, quite, lots of wild life and view of cow farm. Lots of room for family, pool and hot tub that both heat.

Host was very communicative and quick to reply to questions we had except when I asked about using the hot tub. House was advertised as “River Oaks — the Ranch House Pool & Hot Tub”. No reply for hours until I got my response about how to check out. Other than that, home was great.

It's a very nice location... Plenty of space for everyone. A little confusion about hot tub but if you read binder it says you need to reach out to have them remotely to have it turned on. They also sent a message before you get there to bring your own towels for pool because the white towels are meant for inside only, but right next to one of the back doors is a tote of rolled up colored beach towels... Fountain on pool was never running like in pictures but maybe that's a turn on remotely thing also? We saw several spiders in home and had an incident the last night of our stay where I woke up to scorpion crawling on my face in Master bedroom and it stung my finger as I smacked it off. Stay Texas/Host reassured me that they do have proper pest/insect control but in this experience I had of the scorpion and seeing several spiders and than two more scorpions I questionned how recently they've done a thorough spray/walk-thru. Location is perfect with complete privacy just lacked in the areas of the insect control and some deep cleaning to get rid of small spider webs in windows.
