Three-bedroom, two full bath waterfront home, located on beautiful Lake Ontario, just minutes from the Salmon River. Cable, wi-fi, full kitchen. Two bedrooms have queen-sized beds, with the third bedroom having two twin beds that can be made into a full bed. This exquisite home also features an electric fireplace, screened-in porch, washer/dryer, and microwave. The gorgeous sunsets are world-renowned! World-class restaurant with delicious fare, DEC trails, and white sands beach located 1000 feet away. Located minutes from world-class salmon fishing on the Salmon River, three State parks, with boat launches, miniature put put, go-cart racing, shops, and three golf courses (within ten minutes).

*Home is now updated with a beautiful fire pit with Adirondack chairs.

Very nice property with a great view of Lake Ontario. Close to an excellent beach, short drives to restaurants and stores. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Perfect eclipse viewing location

Wonderful location for an April getaway in northern NY. The house was perfect, roomy & clean with comfortable beds. The view of the lake was beautiful! We really enjoyed it. We may be back in the summer!

Rainbow shores is a hit

We love this house. It’s our 2nd vacation here! The views and sunsets don’t let you down even in the rain! I bring my 81 y/o mom and two teenagers and we all have something to do! Thanks Tina for another great stay!

Peaceful

Beautiful view of the lake. Quiet neighborhood. Loved the open living space. A bit pricey, but with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms it's perfect for two couples to share the expense. My only critique is that it could have been cleaner. It appeared to me that the floor hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a while. Also there were belongings left behind in one of the dressers, indicating to me that housekeeping doesn't thoroughly inspect the rooms prior to the next guest's stay.

Disappointing

It was not clean and by looking under the beds, it hadn't been cleaned properly possibly ever. Window AC units in all 3 bedrooms had gaping spaces around them that allowed bugs in. Had to use towels and other items to try and plug them up. Kids didn't want to sleep in the one room because of the amount of bugs that came in. Water barely came out of the faucet in the one bathroom sink. Weeds growing up through the deck. Huge drop-off to the lake. We couldn't do anything but look at the lake.

Million dollar view

This is a gorgeous little house right on the top of the lake cliff. The house has an open layout and the surround view of Lake Ontario from any point in the living room. Simply stunning, you never get used to this much lake and sky. Just takes your breath away. A beauty and a million dollar view for sure. The water is warm and the lake is perfectly swimmable. Here is what the ad does not mention. 1) The house is literally on a cliff. A rocky one. You can climb down the rocks , and by the end of our 2 week stay my kids got so good at it, they didn’t even have to look. Yet, it does seem daunting at first. Older people and dogs won’t master it. 2). There is a reason the house comes with a covered porch. Mosquitos are evil and there is a legion of them, but they come our after sunset. 3) Not much to do with kids in the immediate vicinity. No trails, amusement parks, museums or skate rinks. Everything is at least an hour away. But the view makes up for it. Coincidentally, if you are ok with driving 45 min, the CNY regional farmers market in Syracuse is the best. Ever. Overall, it is one of the most gorgeous locations. Perhaps in the world. Worth every penny.

Strong Air Freshener Emissions in Home

I rarely write reviews but felt I needed to do so in case anyone reading the reviews has a similar sensitivity. I gave this rental one star because of the very strong odor that was in the home caused by emissions from air fresheners. Upon arriving, we discovered that the host had four plug-in air fresheners scattered throughout the small home (one plug-in is recommended per 1,000 sq. ft. – this was excessive). While the view was lovely and as described, I cannot tolerate synthetic room deodorizers. I am not unique. Research shows that air fresheners are not tolerated by 20% of the population. I could not sleep at all the first night because of the strong scent that also seemed to have permeated the room and bedding, and I became ill (developed a migraine and nausea). Given the strong odor, we needed to leave a day early as I could no longer tolerate the fragrance (even though we unplugged all of the plug-ins upon arriving, it was still quite apparent). This caused us to forfeit over $400 for the second night of the paid rental that we were unable to utilize.

Vaca on the Lake

The house we chose was a perfect size for our family. It was right on the lake with a great view of the sun setting. There was nothing we needed. They even provided wood for the fire pit. I would definitely go back and rent this little house. Thank you for a wonderful week.

Very good and quiet place

We enjoyed the stay and had a pleasant time even why it was winter. The only thing would like to have was a lock from inside since everyone who has the code can get inside from main door, even if locked inside. Not sure if code is changed after each guest leaves.

Beautiful view

We had a wonderful stay at this property. We visited Pulaski for a couple of days of salmon fishing. The view of the water was amazing and the location was very convenient to the Salmon River. We would definitely stay again!
