I and family of 8 enjoyed our stay very much. Very spacious. Having the boat lift and dock is a positive amenity to have . The home has a relaxing atmosphere with plenty of space to relax. Kids/Teens were very comfortable with everything offered to have great memories at Clearlake.fish was awesome right of the pier a plus win /win.Thank you and definitely will come back.Thank you for the excellent time here.

We're thrilled that everyone, from the kids and teens to the adults, found plenty of space to relax and enjoy Clear Lake. Hearing that the fishing was fantastic right off the pier is always exciting! No propane for BarBques, no charcoal to use cause of no Propane. Went and purchased lighter fluid and charcoal. Left it there for next guest. No batteries for TV remotes. Wifi kept dropping off, no extra garbage bags, no aluminum or Saran wrap to cover food. One set of bathroom towels for 9 people in each bathroom. Bugs were nasty at night. Couldn't go outside to enjoy the evening.I have reservations for July 4th weekend here and and I have to think about staying again. It says I have to June 18th to cancel

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you were able to enjoy your stay overall. We confirmed that additional towels were available at the property during your stay. Regarding food storage options, we provide reusable storage containers for guest use as an alternative to disposable items such as aluminum foil and plastic wrap. We understand that Wi-Fi connectivity and outdoor insects can impact the guest experience. As with many outdoor destinations, seasonal insects can be more noticeable during certain times of the year, particularly in the evenings. We appreciate your comments, as they help us continue evaluating the guest experience and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Perfection!

This house was literal perfection! Fully furnished and stocked with everything we needed! We were even able to cook a Thanksgiving meal :) Traveling with 6 kids from West Texas, this house was the highlight of our trip (aside from seeing our family we hadn’t seen in 5 years lol) The views were absolutely stunning. My personal favorite was drinking coffee in the mornings in front of the fire table watching the birds on the lake. There was more than enough room for our family to hang out and have space seeing how we really didn’t go anywhere for 5 days. There is a few board games as well as several smart tvs to keep everyone entertained. The fishing pier was a huge perk and so fun! We had everything we needed and didn’t have to worry about anything during a very emotional time which was so nice because this was a spur of the moment trip to see family that was recently diagnosed with cancer. The property management company reached out upon arrival and during our stay to check in and make sure everything was going smoothly. If our trip couldn’t have gotten any better, The day before we were set to check out we realized we were having car troubles and needed to stay an extra day. The owners personally reached out and allowed us to extend our trip! They were so kind, caring, and accommodating. This extra day gave my family back home time to drive 15 hours closer to us while we were able to try to remedy our car good enough to meet them half way home. We are extremely happy with our entire experience staying at The Blue Bayou on ClearLake! I highly recommend this property and can’t wait to come back someday!
