STEMWINDER #6B - 1 BEDROOM, 1 BATH - BEDDING: MASTER BR Pillow top Queen Bed with Flat Screen TV/DVD. Flat Screen TV/DVD and Queen Sleeping Sofa in Living Room. The kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, and microwave. NO DISHWASHER. The kitchen has everything you will need, and brand names you trust - Cuisinart, KitchenAid, Wolfgang Puck, Crock Pot, and more. A short flight of stairs from the parking lot. Ski trails on both sides of the complex. Snowshoe Basin on the east side, Western Territory on the west side.

SLOPE SIDE

AMENITIES: Free WiFi, Free Long Distance Calling, Gated Community, Bike Friendly Lodging, Free Resort Shuttle Service. Access to Powder Monkey Lift. Within walking distance to the Western Territory and The Village at Snowshoe's Shops & Restaurants.

Beautiful view, great location

I throughly enjoyed my stay in 6b! Location is perfect—near enough to the village and even closure to the quieter eateries near powder monkey. I hope to be back next year!

Clean nice location

Room was nice and clean. View was nice as well. If you are staying in the summer the only downfall is there isn’t A/C, heat only.

Great for ski in/out

Location and property were perfect for my husband and me. Very little sound proofing so we heard every footstep of the group upstairs but worth it to step right out onto the slopes.

Nice amenities, however, the unit could have been cleaner, there was excessive trash and dirt under the bed. The night light in the bathroom didn’t work and the left side light on the nightstand had no light bulb. Access to the unit after it snowed was difficult with knee high drifts.

Clean, tidy, comfy

Better than advertised. Condo is super clean and quiet. Front faces the mountains so you see beautiful view instead of parking lot. Would stay again.

On the slopes

Great location, cute unit. Layout is a bit weird if people are using pullout and bedroom, with walking through bathroom, but it works. Pullout needs some cleaning, but our stay was good.

Great Location

The loacation is great. The condo is smaller than the pictures make it out to be, but not too small. A couple of small issues. The pantry has a door to the ajoining condo and there is a large gap and no isulation so you can hear everything next door and I assume they can hear you. Secondly, no one shovels the stairs down to the entrance which when there is alot of snow can be treacherous.

Had a blast!

Great place very cozy with everything a family of four with young (9 and 11) kids needs. Easy access to slopes and village. If you get some rowdy folks upstairs it could be a challenge. Luckily our neighbors had young kids as well who all went to bed early.

Review

Check in was great, room was clean, the ski out access is amazing. The main bummer of this place is the total lack of noise insulation from the upstairs rental. You can hear every step and noise, and in our case there was a large family with small kids running around every morning at 7:30am. I'm glad for them to be up early and taking advantage of the mountain, but it was impossible to sleep in due to the noise. Otherwise the room was fairly average, nothing fancy but you're paying for the ski-out access, which is excellent.

Everything was nice except for the neighbors upstairs partying the night away Friday and Saturday. There must be zero insulation in the floor/ceiling of these units so bring your earplugs

While not every property is located directly on the slopes, the majority of our rentals are slopeside and provide ski-in/ski-out access to beginner (novice) trails within the main terrain area of Snowshoe Mountain. Many homes also feature scenic mountain, village, or Western Territory views. The Western Territory is a separate section of the mountain known for its long vertical drop and expert terrain. This area features some of the steepest and most challenging trails in the region and is designed primarily for advanced skiers and snowboarders.
