Cozy Snowshoe Retreat! 2BR/2BA Ski-out condo

This newly renovated 2BR/2BA end unit is just steps away from the slopes!
"Mountain Memories" is an established rental property with a near perfect rating conveniently located in the Shamrock community. This ski out end unit is just steps from the Shamrock trail on the North Slope and just minutes from the Western Territory. The Village of Snowshoe is a quick 5 minute walk - or catch the shuttle for a ride to Silver Creek or Top of the Mountain. Two master suites, wood burning fireplace, forced air heat, and all the conveniences of home make "Mountain Memories" a perfect getaway for family and friends.

Our unit has a private entrance and private parking in front of the unit. It has been totally renovated inside and out. There is a heated mudroom that has a bench and ski storage which is a great staging room for getting ready to hit the slopes - or to remove gear at the end of your day. The fully stocked kitchen is user friendly with three barstools overlooking the stainless appliances and granite countertops. The living area includes two sofas that are extra large and extra comfortable. They recline in four separate sections and make a great place to relax and watch the large flat screen television or warm up by the wood burning fireplace. There is also a four seat table where you can share a meal or enjoy friendly game of cards while watching the snowfall.

The downstairs bedroom features a queen bed, private bathroom and a wall mounted flat screen television. The upstairs master also has a queen bed, flatscreen television, large closet, soaking tub with shower and heated floors in the en suite bathroom. Linens and towels are provided for your convenience.

With all the conveniences that "Mountain Memories" has to offer (including wi-fi) you may be tempted to take a day off from the slopes and share quality time in this cozy retreat.

Cost includes a 2% Resort Community District Fee.

Very nice place. Ideal for skiing, but for MTB, a bit of a ride to the basin lift and shops (Western lift is closer). Nothing crazy, just be aware there is a bit of a uphill pedal).Easy parking. However, no deck to sit out on, but comfy beds (upstairs bed a little on the soft side) and very clean. Very accommodating host! No bike storage in unit.

Place was very clean. Well positioned to basically ski right out your back door, although tough walk coming back up - lol. Kitchen was fully stocked, even down to spices and cooking oil. Overall, five star experience, would definitely come back. Great place.

Great stay in Shamrock close to slopes

Our family enjoyed our stay in this Shamrock condo. It is indeed ski out, but I don’t recommend skiing back in as there is a big hill to climb. However, we found it easy to go up the powder monkey lift, grab a pizza at corduroy inn, and then walk back to the complex!

Condo was well equipped. The mud room at the front door was perfect for leaving ski equipment. Perfect for 4 adults. Advertised as room for 6 but the downstairs bathroom is included with the bedroom. Consider adding a door to the bedroom downstairs to allow others to use the bathrooms while others sleep.. this was only issue.

MLK weekend 2025

We’ve stayed in this condo before, and that’s why we chose it again. The location is great, and the parking is super convenient. We had a little snafu at check in, but it was resolved quickly. We’ll definitely consider this rental again!Keith B. Ellis

Great property!!

Condo was very clean and had a great layout. Bonus for free parking right in front of our door and a heated vestibule to put ski gear and get ready for the day. Ski out was great, quite a hill to climb to "ski in", but can also take lift to close by and walk on road or shuttle back. Property also backs up to woods so we had a beautiful view out the back with lots of snow, and deer in the morning.

MLK ski weekend

My wife, and I, and our 17 year old son enjoyed 3 days of great skiing. We have stayed at Shamrock before and booked this condo because we really liked the location. Super convenient as access to the slopes is right outside the condo. This unit is nicely updated and the owner is a pleasure to work with. We’ll definitely consider this condo for our future trips to Snowshoe.

Great stay!

We loved this condo. Near the slopes for easy ski out. You can walk back to the condo from the lift but agree with others that it would be hard for little kids as it is uphill. Our 11 and 14 year old did it with no problem. The heated room for ski equipment was super convenient. The kitchen was well stocked and unit was clean. Perfect size for a family of 4. We will be back! Thanks for a great stay!

We had a great time , but the beds were way too soft and squishy and the couch was not very comfortable for the last person that didn’t fit on the other 2 queen beds .the kitchen was very complete and we found everything we needed from plates to pans and a Crotpot . We were relieved to see how close the apartment was from the ski paths and how we just had to take a quick 1min walk and we would already be there , no having to worry about parking and being able to get home quickly after a long skiing day .thank you ! We will definitely come back next winter ❄

End of Season Weekender

Great place for a winter getaway!

The unit was very clean and updated (at least for my family's liking). It was very cozy, but also good room for four adults and our one grandchild. Easy walking access to the slopes near the powder ridge lift. Highly recommend the unit for anyone looking to get away for any of the four seasons at Snowshoe!

Would Definitely Stay Again

Very clean, nicely equipped unit, much of which seemed recently renovated. Wood burning fireplace is a super bonus for our family. Ski out is immediately adjacent and super easy, ski in is a bit of a hike and/or climb, especially for little legs, but not the end of the world.

Nicest Condo!

I have been going to snowshoe for 30 years. I have rented condos all over the mountain. This is the nicest condo I have stayed at. It has a good lay out, hard wood floors and a good home feel. You can walk out the door and ski right down to the slopes. I would highly recommend this unit. I plan on renting it again. The owner Blake was great to work with. I had emailed him a few times and he responded quickly. The neighbors where very friendly. Thank again Blake

Great time at Shamrock #40. Loved the location. And the accommodations were very comfortable. Would definitely rent again. Was topped off this morning with 6 deer outside our window walking in the freshly fallen snow.

Birthday Ski Weekend

We stayed at "The Glade Escape" this past weekend for a birthday celebration. We were so impressed with this Condo. It was perfect. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, great location and the fireplace made it so cozy. Also, we loved the heated mud room for our ski equipment. Blake was wonderful and very easy to contact. I would highly recommend "The Glade Escape."
