Our beautiful home sits on a cliff 80 feet above the shoreline. At low tide there are many rocks and a large beach. But even at high tide Pelican Rock stands above the water. There is no direct access to the beach from the house but it is only 9 tenths of a mile to Sport Heaven Beach, about a 20 minute walk or a short drive. Sport Heaven Beach has miles of sandy beach and there are many other beautiful beaches in the area. The house is 4 miles from the center of Brookings and 1 mile to the Harbor.  At the harbor there are great restaurants,  fishing charters and a great boardwalk overlooking the boats.
Come and enjoy amazing sunrises and sunsets.
We have lived in Brookings for three years now and love it year round.  We live in our home just 4 miles away with our three small dogs. We hope to see you soon.
Please no trailers. Our driveway does not allow for turning around a trailer.
There is a video camera above the garage door that monitors the driveway.
Please stay off the neighbors property and stairs to the beach

John was great to work with. Real quick with responding and provided some information on events the weekend we were there. I’d definitely come back here again the next time I plan a trip to Brookings.

This is a really nice cozy little house with a million dollar view. We loved it and John was the best host. Ask John anything about the area and he has the answers. The location is great and close to everything.

Magical sunsets and sunrises, clean and well kept cozy home with all the amenities. Very friendly and attentive host will definitely be back. Fire pit created a perfect outdoor experience. A great place to bring your dog as well.

We absolutely LOVED our stay! This place was AWESOME—and honestly, it was even better than the pictures!The fenced-in yard was perfect for our two dogs, and the ocean view was absolutely stunning. The quiet, secluded location was exactly what my husband and I were looking for, and it was such a peaceful place to relax with our pups.The firepit was also a huge hit! Our 2½-year-old niece came over one evening and we had so much fun making s’mores together. It was such a sweet memory and one of the highlights of our stay.And I have to say, John was an AMAZING host! He was incredibly communicative, friendly, and helpful from start to finish. You can really tell that he cares about his guests and wants them to have a wonderful experience.I’ve stayed in many VRBOs throughout the country, and this one was by far one of the best-stocked places I’ve ever stayed. It truly had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!And I mean EVERYTHING—from Ziploc bags and aluminum foil to Tupperware with matching lids for leftovers. There were also plenty of spices available, which is such a nice touch. If you’ve stayed in other vacation rentals, you know you almost always have to go buy the basics like salt and pepper. Not here! John thought of all those little things that make a stay so much easier.Between the incredible ocean view, peaceful location, fenced yard, amazing amenities, and fantastic host, this place exceeded our expectations in every way.

Beautiful location

Very clean, well stocked property in a beautiful location. Great for kids and pets! Minutes from the harbor and the local grocery store. This is our second stay at this property and it was just as relaxing as the first stay!
