Located on a secluded 5.3-acre property with 380 feet of privately owned beachfront on St. Georges Bay, this newly built two-story cottage offers the perfect coastal retreat. Just steps from the ocean, you'll enjoy both a front and back deck, plus a large gazebo overlooking the water - perfect for morning coffee or sunset cocktails.

Inside, the cottage is modern and cozy, with comfortable living spaces and panoramic water views.

Please note: The cottage includes ladder-style attic stairs between the main and
upper floors. These are not standard stairs and require careful use.
‱ Children under 9 are not permitted to stay at the cottage.
‱ Guests with mobility issues should use the outdoor upper deck stairs to
access the second floor.
‱ All guests use the stairs at their own risk. The Host is not liable for
injuries related to stair use.

Peaceful stay at a spectacular property!This place was a true sanctuary and ticked all of the boxes for us. The cottage is well appointed, very clean and comfortable. The location-wow! We loved the incredible ocean views, the lovely beach for walking and the numerous, outdoor sitting areas for dining, reading and star-gazing. The hosts were friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had.They also ensured that we had all information needed to have a great stay.Many thanks to Steve and Danielle for sharing this beautiful seaside oasis!

My wife, our three children and I stayed here for 7 nights. Its was very comfortable. Private sandy beach and great scenery. The owners were very helpful and pleasant. It was a great time and experience!

A treasure, a relaxing get away with all the amenities

This is a wonderful place to stay. We did not want to leave. A secluded cottage with a private beach with the provision of outdoor games, kayaks, bikes, an outdoor firepit and incredible sunsets. A wonderful family location or just if one wants to escape.

Peaceful stay in Tracadie.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely secluded cabin. The cabin is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Lots of extra emenities and easy to check in and out. Scenic drives to Cape Bretton and Antigonish. Kids loved the yard and beach combing right out the door.

Incredible

We wanted to spend a quiet week on the ocean and visit family in the area. This was an incredible property for our 1 week stay. The private beach is literally a stones throw from the cottage. The gazebo with a picnic table had an amazing 180 degree view of the coastline. Our standard poodle loved the property.

A perfect place to relax and unwind

We had a wonderful time here! The view was spectacular and having access to the ocean so close was heavenly. This cottage has all the amenities you could want to make the most of your time there and enjoy the outdoors. Communication with Steve was exceptional. He was very responsive to any questions we had.

Great private location right on the water

We had an amazing week spending time on the beach, swimming, catching mackerel and stripped bass right off shore, searching for shells, and evenings by the fire. Cottage was small but clean and had everything you need. We loved the small charcoal bbq for cooking food right in the beach. Would definitely recommend to others!

What an amazing getaway. We loved staying here. Very secluded and quiet. They had everything we’d want and more, from Kayaks to a washer & dryer. Steve communicated early and often and was a fantastic host. 5 stars all around. Thanks again.

East Coast Treasure

We had a wonderful stay at this quaint little cottage. The property has so much to offer. We enjoyed walks on the beach, campfires, a little fishing, and the boys even took a cold plunge into the ocean. The place was perfect for our Thanksgiving celebration. We enjoyed the tranquility and spectacular views of St. Georges Bay. A huge thanks to Steve who was so wonderful at answering all of my text messages. Your place is quite special!

Cute little cabin with great features and amenities — but the location is the real treasure: truly one in a million.Our family spent hours in the water, catching sea creatures, spotting bald eagles, and soaking in phenomenal sunsets.It’s peaceful, secluded, and beautifully maintained. We especially enjoyed making use of the gazebo.The cabin is also well situated for exploring Cape Breton, with Antigonish just a short drive away for groceries and restaurants.Inside, the cabin was clean and well appointed. One note: the upstairs sleeping area is accessed from inside via a ladder-style staircase that pulls down from the ceiling, but there’s also an outdoor option via regular stairs from the back deck. The only other bed is the couch in the living room. The listing makes this clear, but it’s worth reiterating.Finally, Steve was a phenomenal host. From the extras provided in the shed to his detailed and thoughtful communication, he made our trip even easier and more enjoyable. Thank you, Steve! We can absolutely see ourselves returning in the future.

Gorgeous spot and thoughtful host!

My husband and I (and our dogs) very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful location on the water! The weather was less than perfect due to the tropical storm that came through, but we were still able to take in the amazing scenery of the area and especially loved biking along the Celtic Shores Coastal Trail out of Port Hawkesbury. Steve was a very caring host, checking on us on a regular basis to make sure we were ok after the storm, and even his neighbors were thoughtful enough to check! We were sad to leave on the final day when the sun finally came out, but it was a great start to our journey to Cape Breton! Thank you again Steve!
