The Natchez Gaol, Downtown Natchez

Unique restored commercial building, with a full living space with Kitchen 1 1/2 baths and a sleeping loft with a King size bed.
Front room can be used as a conference room for working meetings, an office, or as a dining room additional bedroom and game room.
Building is located in the heart of Downtown Natchez, on Antiques Row.
The building has off Street Parking, a private entrance, and is well equipped for guests enjoyment.

Building used to be the Natchez Pawn Shop - very secure - looks like an old Western Jail House!

Check in Mon-Sat if before 5 is at my Antique Store almost next door at 712 Franklin Street, Lower Lodge Antiques.
In the summer our guests can use a local “members only” pool in Downtown Natchez.
After 5 and on Sundays check in is via a lock box.

Great place had everything we needed! Kitchen had oil and butter in the fridge. Laundry room was stocked as well and handy to wash road trip clothes. Also we appreciated the chips and bottled waters. Bed was comfy and courtyard a lovely spot to relax outside. Great price for all the space available. Would stay again!

The place was nicely decorated! They provided literally EVERYTHING! Things you didn’t even realize that you might need…. They had already thought about. Very neat little spot. Great location. Felt safe. Would definitely stay again!!

Staying at the Natchez goal was a lovely experience! Way better than staying at a hotel. The host thought of everything.The Natchez Goal had all the comforts of home from creamers for your coffee to laundry supplies in the laundry room, The back door opened up into a beautiful courtyard like garden with lovely plants, birds singing and beautiful sunlight. Not to mention this location is close to everything downtown My experience was absolutely wonderful thank you Richard, Jill and Barbara!

Great stay

Property was very clean and comfortable. Location is walkable to everything in the historic part of town, so once I got there I didn’t use my car until I checked out. Courtyard is incredibly peaceful and pretty!

The VRBO was in the heart of Natchez. Close to coffee shops and antique shops. The diner next door was very good too.

Wonderful stay

The Gaol was the perfect place for us. Very clean and a quick walk to local eateries and antique stores. Host was also accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

Very spacious, great location

We had a great time during our stay. The location was fantastic and the property was much bigger than anticipated. Richard gets back to you quickly.

Owned the building since 1995 - was rented in the past to an Antique Store, then as a workshop for an Antique dealer, later as an Artist Studio, then as storage for my Antique store almost next door! We restored the building in 2019/2020 and finished it just in time for Corona virus to hit!
