Originally built in 1968 as the ticket office for the “Black Duck” ferry to K’gari, this home has been thoughtfully reimagined to retain its heritage character while introducing a relaxed coastal feel. Soft tones and preserved details create a warm, welcoming ambience, with natural light enhancing the home’s easy connection to its leafy surroundings.

A welcoming living area invites you to settle in with comfortable seating and a smart TV, while gentle cross-breezes and split-system air conditioning in the main zones keep things comfortable year-round. Flowing on, an open kitchen and dining space forms the heart of the home—bright, functional, and designed for connection. Fully equipped for home cooking, the kitchen makes meal prep easy, while the dining setting encourages long, shared meals.

The main bedroom includes an ensuite, while the second bedroom is positioned near the main bathroom, both located within the main house. Set just across the outdoor walkway, the separate retreat houses the third bedroom, offering added privacy but no bathroom of its own.
