Beach Terrace Kushimoto is an oceanfront retreat located in Kushimoto, the southernmost town on Honshu Island, Wakayama Prefecture. With the Pacific Ocean stretching out before you and walking access to the UNESCO World Heritage Kumano Kodo Ohechi Route just behind the property


One of the highlights of the property is the expansive 220㎡ private oceanfront terrace, designed to feel as though it merges seamlessly with the sea. From sunrise and sunset to star-filled night skies, guests can enjoy the ever-changing scenery of the ocean throughout the day.


Opened in June 2025, the annex building and the expansive 220㎡ oceanfront terrace are reserved exclusively for your group throughout your stay. Enjoy panoramic ocean views, breathtaking sunsets, and a sky filled with countless stars.


Guest room arrangements are adjusted based on the number of guests to ensure a comfortable stay.
• 1–2 guests: Private use of the annex only
• 3–4 guests: Annex + one private twin room
• 5–8 guests: Annex + multiple private twin rooms


Other areas of the property, such as dormitory-style rooms, may be used by diving guests depending on availability. However, the annex and the 220㎡ terrace are always reserved exclusively for your group.


The surrounding area offers a wide range of ocean activities, including SUP, sea kayaking, fishing, underwater scooters, and diving. Whether you wish to relax in nature or actively enjoy the sea, Beach Terrace Kushimoto is an ideal base for your stay.


Small dogs (one per stay) are welcome with an additional fee of JPY 5,000, payable by credit card at check-in. Vaccination certificates are required.


Optional experiences include a private tent sauna overlooking the ocean and a guided walk along the Kumano Kodo trail. Please note that advance reservations are required.
