A unique stay in a stunning location for adventurous travellers who like try different things! Situated on the superb Fox trail, our early morning hike to the southern tip of Fox Island was a highlight.

It definitely is worth the stay! Lots of character & description online is very accurate. Very spotty service out there but we were made aware ahead of time & loved the peace & quiet.

What a neat spot! The tiny house had everything we needed, and I love the balcony over the water. Easy to find and such a cool community. Thanks!

The place was just as advertised. The hot water stayed hot if you kept it running. We also enjoyed a clear starry night out on the deck. Saw shooting stars!

Unique for sure. Clean and quiet. Only thing I would say is the stairs up to the sleeping area are difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Just something to keep in mind which we didn’t pick on. Otherwise no complaints at all.

The boat house is a charming and unique stay. I squealed with delight when we came over the hill and I spotted the iconic pink boathouse. The kitchen is well appointed (although we only made coffee). The composting toilet is easy to manage. We didn’t try the shower. The bed is up in the loft and was easier to get to than I thought. We enjoyed chatting with the family and strolling the nearby trail. Watch for beautiful fox in the area too.

The Tickle Cove Boathouse was a unique stop-over during our visit to Newfoundland. The property is well appointed with the basics and a few luxuries. Communication with Nicole (host) is great and they provide a good deal of information about the property and the area. The property is kept very clean and the amenities are appreciatedNote that this boathouse is COZY. There is hot water which is an on-demand system so you have to be patient. Definitely read through the instructions regarding the composting toilet. It is easier to understand once you are at the property and can view the device in person. The bed is quite comfy although, getting to the loft requires some self-confidence in ladder usage (it is safe, sturdy, and steep)! The view from the deck in the morning is awesome. This slightly out of the way property is a memory maker!

The boat house was great! The location is ideal for a quiet getaway, great coffee shop nearby (two whales coffee, YOU MUST GO) Note that there is no heating other than a provided space heater. When we arrived it was about 10 degrees outside and inside felt even colder. Bring slippers! Our toes were freezing walking around the boathouse on that first night. Once the weather got warmer the feel of the boathouse was amazing. You do get a limited amount of drinking / cooking water! In the kitchen, a hot plate is provided as well as a coffee machine and a stovetop kettle. The bed was comfy and cozy, we slept very well. The sunset was amazing! Nicole is great and had let us know she was refilling the water tank outside!
