Secluded wooded getaway steps from the salt water

Unwind in our 28ft starcraft RV on our private lot beside a babbling brook.

Queen bed plus two large bunk beds; A/C; fridge and freezer; stove with oven and microwave.

The bathroom includes a commode, sink and shower.

The RV is all set to welcome you and your family for a quiet weekend retreat, or a base camp while you explore the Bonavista Peninsula.

The RV is surrounded by spruce forest, and a babbling brook runs past. Follow the brook to the salt water just 150 metres away! Our property is 3 minutes from The View Golf Resort, 20 minutes from Trinity and 45 minutes from Bonavista.

Camper on private property close to waterfront. Everything we needed was supplied. Bed was OK, TV which had access to Netflix & Prime movies, fridge & freezer as well as pantry space for food. Host was very hospitable - gave us cod which we could fry, answered our questions, tended quickly to our needs. Electric space heater was much appreciated as the weather was cool while we were there.

Lovely large well kept trailer home. Pictures do not do it justice. Well placed in a forest setting with blueberries galore to pick.Host was very attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with our two grandkids. They had never been in a trailer before and loved it.My one suggestion would be a few more dishes as we had to improvise for bowls.All good. We would consider renting again.The outdoor pool in Plate Cove East was an fantastic added bonus.

Making do

The trailer was nice, bed could use an upgrade as well as the entrance mat that gave the trailer a bit of a musty smell until we air the place out. The instructions on how to get there wasn't clear. I was told I wouldn't find it with Gps , we tried the GPS the next day when knew the address and it does take you right there. The drive is down a steep hill with a sharp turn halfway down into the trailer driveway, it was tricky and we were in a small car. Overall we still enjoyed our stay, the owner was very friendly, greeted us when we arrived and checked on us a few times during our stay.

Perfect secluded getaway!!

Ideal location for day tripping!! Linda and Barrey made check in easy and had everything available you would need. I would have given 5 stars but the bed mattress was a lil softer than we are used to.

Great accommodation

This was a great place to stay, close to many areas to visit yet far enough away for quiet. The trailer was super clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We would recommend staying here!

Post conference jaunt

Amazing experience....the trailer was comfortable and served us well. Perched right next to a brook as it tumbles down in to the placid bay, just a short stroll down the hill. Barrey's and Linda's hospitality was warm and genuine. A campfire welcomed us as we arrived and we were invited to a lovely lobster supper the following night.Our fist time in Newfoundland, Barrey and Linda were very generous with suggestions, maps, advice and information. We had an amazing time.

Like staying with family

We are a family of 5 travelling through Newfoundland and tent camping most of the way. Staying in Barry & Linda’s RV was a welcome comfort! Tidy and cozy, with all the amenities we had been missing while tenting! Our boys enjoyed the property, chatting with Barry and Linda, as well as playing in the brook right beside the RV. At night we could hear the babbling brook and enjoyed a fire that Barry had started for us after our whale watching tour they had recommended - it was amazing!! We even enjoyed picking some blueberries on their property. We loved our stay here and we all wanted to stay longer! Barry and Linda were so kind and helpful! Great place to stay! Highly recommend it!

Fantastic family adventure

Nice trailer with lovely hosts for a first camping style experience. Great location for touring the Bona vista penĂ­nsula in a beautiful area by a stream with amazing sunsets from the beach a 3 minute walk away. Definitely recommend it for families. Our 9 year olds loved it!

Sanctuary on the woods

When we first drove into the property, we saw how beautifully landscaped it was, then when we drove up to the camper and got out of our vehicle, the first thing we heard was the raging brook next to the camper...then we saw how spectacular this spot was...just perfect for what we like! Our hosts, Barry & Linda could not have been more welcoming, friendly & kind! Barry cooked us fresh lobster our 2nd night, and we got a great chance to visit with them, and hear good stories and history of the area. They showed us around their beautiful yard, and made us feel right at home. We highly recommend staying at this lovely sanctuary in the woods!

Wonderful hosts

If you enjoy the outdoors you’ll love this vrbo trailer. Located by a babbling brook and a campfire nightly. Barry and Linda were very accommodating finding fresh cod to cook and touring us around their area which included his golf course and Summerville. We were able to day trip around the Bonavista Peninsula and see the local history. We would definitely recommend this property.

Nice quiet get away

Great spot , perfect location to go sight seeing close to bonavista , the owner was very nice and welcoming, camper is very clean and modern. Lots of blue berries around to pick and acess to ocean is great for kids. Me my wife and daughter loved it here and cant wait for next time

Highly recommend!

Booking was easy through the app. Owners were very helpful in finding the property. Property was fantastic, beach access. Trailer was positioned right beside a creek which gives you a truly nature feel. Owners went above and beyond by showing us muscles, local attractions and marina. Trailer itself is spacious, everything you need inside. Much more than just accommodation by staying here, significantly more value than staying in a hotel. Would highly recommend. Thank you again to the owners!
