You can rest easy knowing your stay is covered with $1,500 in "All-Risk" Damage Protection. Although rare, accidental damage from guests does happen. Traditionally, this was managed via a security deposit or vacation rental damage insurance purchased by the guest. Both are cumbersome and often have big limitations in protection.

With "all-risk" protection, all accidental damage from a guest is covered unless specifically excluded such as, but not limited to, normal wear and tear, infestation, or prior damage.

Guests booking River Run Retreat will have access to both homes - the cabin and the cottage - plus the shared private dock, fire pit, and kayaks. Access codes for both keypads will be provided after confirmed booking in the days prior to guest arrival.

Situated on 1.5 acres at the end of a quiet road, River Run Retreat feels worlds away while being just 15 minutes from the charming downtowns of both Saugerties and Kingston. For the equestrian travelers, we are also 15 minutes from HITS.

The Cabin: A sleek, modern 2-bedroom home with a dramatic floor-to-ceiling glass wall and double sliding doors that blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living - especially stunning in the fall.

The Cottage: A cozy 2-bedroom home with a vaulted-ceiling living room and a screened-in porch, just steps from the cabin.

Step outside and enjoy:

A car is recommended for getting to and around the property. River Run Retreat is just under 2 hours from Manhattan, and about 15 minutes from downtown Saugerties and Kingston.

House Rules

Services: For your convenience, routine services such as lawn care, snow removal, garbage pickup, and pool maintenance may occur during your stay.

Parking: Please park only in the designated parking spaces.

Pets: Pets are only permitted with prior approval from our team. An unauthorized pet will result in a fee of up to $500.

Smoking: This is a non-smoking property. Smoking anywhere on the premises will result in a fee of up to $500.

Weapons: Weapons of any kind, including firearms and hunting bows, are strictly prohibited. Any evidence of a weapon will result in immediate eviction from the property.

Property Boundaries: For your safety and the privacy of others, please do not trespass beyond the property boundaries.

Camping: The use of tents, yurts, or other camping equipment is prohibited.

Wildlife: As part of our commitment to the environment, we do not use chemical pest sprays. We recommend checking for ticks after spending time outdoors.

Security: For everyone's protection, exterior security cameras are installed at the driveway and main entrance. These are not monitored during your stay unless an issue arises, and they never record the interior of the home.

Please be advised that every 30 minutes spent on the property past 11am check out time a $50 fee will be initiated and charged to the card on file used to book the listing. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
