North Star Lodge is the perfect place for your next lakefront getaway! This beautiful A-frame home has incredible lake views and year round comfort. The home features large open spaces and beautiful bedrooms. It is located on a quiet cul-de-sac with over 1.6 acres and features 130 feet of lakefront. North Star lodge has a private tennis court, volleyball court, kids play house, shuffle board and much more to make your vacation a special one!

This is the perfect place for summer vacations, fall leaf peeping, winter weekends away, or spring travels! You will not be disappointed at all there is to do on the property and around the area!

Great Location, so much to do!

We had a great time enjoying this great house, location and so many extras! We made sure to enjoy every game available- tennis, volleyball, basketball, shuffleboard, golf, board games, pool and of course the lake!! The hosts were great at communicating with us and helping us really enjoy our stay. Would definitely recommend this place!

Great weekend at North Star Lodge

This was an amazing long weekend at a beautiful property. We so appreciated all the extra finishing touches. Many choices for both outside and inside activities. We definitely hope to stay again in the future.

A Great Time at North Star Lodge

We celebrated our 35th Anniversary and my brother and his wife also celebrated their 35th at North Star Lodge. It was October and it rained the first day and a half. But the pool table kept us busy. Then when the rain stopped, we were able to use the putting green, play shuffleboard and horse shoes. Everything about the house and the grounds were great, especially the lake views. The house was very comfortable and clean, and it felt like we could have fit another ten people in the house. We would love to go back again, perhaps in warmer weather!

Perfect Family Vacation

This was an awesome rental experience. To begin, Greg and owners provide great communication and the house has everything you need. The set up at the house is great, the bedrooms were comfortable, there is plenty of space to spread out, and the basement area offers a comfortable, fun hangout option. The kitchen & outdoor grill area was well stocked with everything you need for cooking. Outside is perfection-- from the gorgeous lake views, to direct swimming access, to enjoying both the patio and tiki hut for lounging and cocktails, plus the putting green and all of the outdoor activities available. There's so much to do and enjoy at the property and everything is high quality with fun decor and special touches. One of our best rental experiences through VRBO yet!

Great Space and Even Better Activities

This place was absolutely incredible! It was the perfect place to hang by the lake, play a number of outdoor games and activities, or watch TV/Play pool on a rainy day. I would highly recommend this for any and all age groups.

A base to stay a place to play

We had hoped to use North Star Lodge as a base to explore the museums in Seneca Falls; the wineries of the Finger Lake region; the many falls you can hike to around Ithaca; day trips over to places like the War Plane Museum, Letchworth State park and needlework shops in Pittsford. We did that but our outings were cut short because there is so dang buch to do at the house--even more than Greg list if you can believe that. The lodge is clean and well supplied. We, all 60 somethings, spent most days just hanging out and taking advantage of all the offerings at the house. Shuffleboard, basketball, poker table, pool, tennis, puzzles and, of course, cooking together in the kitchen with a night cap on the screened in porch or in the Tiki House or out on the back patio. And to make a perfect place even better, Greg was always available on short notice to give advise or recommendations for anything from groceries to outdoor dining. His guest book at the house summarizes most everything you could want to know and gives great ideas for how to spend your days. Or you can just hole-up for most of them like we did. ;)

Great vacation

My family and I had a wonderful time. The house and property were beautiful and offered a ton of entertainment and fun for my kids and grandchildren. The lake was crystal clear and the swimming area was just perfect for my little ones. Thank you to Greg and his family forOpening up their beautiful warm home. Cayuga lake gem

My family and I stayed at the Northstar Lodge and could not have been more pleased with the house, property and setting. The house and hosts were great down to the last detail. Greg was in contact with us from booking to departure to ensure we we felt right at home during our stay. we use VRBO often and this is our best experience yet. Thank you for making this terrific property available. Our overnight and day guests could not stop complimenting the multiple wonderful features from the multiple terrific views to the kids playhouse to the Tiki Deck. We hope this is available for many more family memories in the future as we will return next year for sure.

Spencer and Greg got married in May 2020. While it was very different than originally planned, it ended up being their perfect wedding! It was at the 'reception' that day, that their families as a joke, first started chanting 'Lake House, Lake House' as a replacement for their honeymoon.

Since their honeymoon had to be postponed, Greg surprised Spencer with a 'Mini' Honeymoon on Cayuga Lake. They immediately fell in love with this beautiful lake!

​Over the following weeks, they began to explore what may be available in the area. One night, they stumbled upon a house with a putting green. They knew that Spencer's dad, Chip, as an avid golfer would love to see it!

Chip and Kim have talked for years about creating a vacation home at which to gather their growing family. They could never seem to find the 'right one'.

When a text came in from Spencer and Greg showing a house with amazing outdoor activities, they all knew they had to see it. It took about 5 minutes of being there to realize that this was the family home they had all been looking for.

North Star Lodge is a family affair, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We hope you enjoy this exceptional lakefront getaway as much as we do!
