Nestled on the edge of North Point Nature Preserve and Mt. McSauba, you will LOVE the location of Nature's Nook. This year round getaway is fully equipped to provide a comfortable and relaxing stay. Right across the street is a trail to Lake Michigan sand dunes and one of Charlevoix's most beloved beaches (parking for the beach is across the street from the house - it's approximately a 2 block walk over dunes from our front door to the water). Feel free to make use of the beach chairs and toys you'll find in the garage! Explore the nature trails right out the front door, play on the dunes, and take a dip in Lake Michigan! A new playground for the kids just opened at McSauba, walk from the house - the kids will love it! Basketball hoops are also at McSauba and tennis/pickleball courts are only a mile away!

Less than 2 miles from town, you can bike, walk or drive in to enjoy shops, restaurants, and watch the drawbridge rise. Enjoy all the festivals and summer celebrations in Charlevoix, or take an easy drive to Boyne or Petoskey! Easy access to all the area golf courses, and only a short drive to Castle Farms or Pond Hill Farms.

Leaf peepers will love the splendor of the fall colors just outside your door at the nature preserve, or can take a short drive through the Tunnel of Trees. Snow bunnies can enjoy all that Mt. McSauba has to offer - one of the top 3 small ski areas in the U.S. as determined by Ski Magazine! Skiing, snow shoeing, sledding hills, cross country ski trails, and an ice rink - all right across the street! Only 30 minutes to the slopes at Boyne Mountain (Boyne City) or Boyne Highlands (Harbor Springs).

The main floor features an open floor plan with living room, dining room, breakfast nook, and a beautiful, fully updated kitchen. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need if you want to make your own meals, traditional coffee maker, a Keurig, and an electric tea kettle. The master bedroom is on the main floor along with one full bathroom and laundry. Upstairs is a full bathroom as well as 2 additional bedrooms. A separate ensuite is conveniently located on the main floor through a private entrance off the garage, including a bedroom with a king size bed and a beautiful, modern full bathroom with a walk in shower. Televisions provide streaming capabilities so you can login to your own accounts on Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc. A secluded wrap around deck provides the perfect spot to relax, soak in the hot tub, or use the Weber grill. After watching the sunset on Lake Michigan, it's only a short stroll back to the house to enjoy a dip in the hot tub. The house is air conditioned to provide comfort on the hottest days. Hot tub is professionally cleaned and serviced by a spa service technician every week. Cozy fireplace, as well as a selection of games, books, puzzles and dvds for those who want to stay in!
