Oriental Suite has Queen bed and single daybed sleeper. Sleeps 3 guests maximum. Rate is for 3 guests. Full bathroom with jjacuzzi tub for single/double occupancy. Has sitting room, wide screen TV, Internet TV, kitchenette, fridge, MW, toaster oven, full kitchen utensils, coffee pot. Overlooks River and woods. A Treehouse Suite. Coffee, tea, juice, oatmeal, fruit, milk, and sales tax included in room rate.
NO PETS ALLOWED, service dogs allowed. It is a animal allergy free room unless prior arrangements have been made for service dog or dog.

This is not a HANDICAPP ACCESSABLE ROOM.

NO PETS OR SERVICE ANIMALS ALLOWED UNLESS PRIOR APPROVAL HAS BEEN MADE. THIS IS NOT A HANDICAPP ACCESSABLE ROOM.

The heat and A/C control is over the love seat. To turn on heat switch it to heat and place on AUTO MODE. Adjust the temperature.

The best way to describe the place is magical! It is set in a beautiful wooded area along the Tippecanoe River, nestled in a garden and patio with beautiful subtle lighting. The rental is decorated with a gentle oriental theme that's interspersed with inspired artwork by the owner. Cozy, well appointed, and the most comfortable bed ever. The kitchen was stocked with continental breakfast items and snacks to last throughout my stay. I highly recommend!

Circumstances changed in my trip requiring me to adjust my plans. This included making a late evening, next day reservation at the Tortuga Inn Oriental Suite. Linda provided all the details needed immediately and I knew I had made the right decision. Thank you, Linda! You helped me more than you know! Upon arrival, I was exhausted and came upon Christine (I believe was her name). Christine immediately made me feel welcome and was a much needed blessing to my heart. Linda also provided me a personal request I needed help with upon arrival, for which I was truly grateful. The customer care is above average and the environment is calming and peaceful. I felt welcomed and appreciated. The in room breakfast choices provided were more than your normal choices at a BB room. Cereal, bagels, oatmeal, coffees, teas, apple and orange juices, milk, hot chocolate, breakfast bars, and individual coffee cake snacks- plus the condiments needed accompanying them. All nicely displayed and filled. If you have phone issues, be sure to connect to their WiFi and you should have no further issues (I forgot to do so right away).

Weekend Excursion

Great place to relax and enjoy the surrounding area. Easy check in and check out. Very Artistic environment! Only minor issue was there was dust that needed cleaning on some fans and exposed dishes ( that had not been used for some time). But the overall cleanliness was good!

Ok stay but it's like staying with at my mother's

It was in a beautiful area.. guests have to check in the front and be walked to the room. There was a curfew for check in and for going outside. They turned off all of the outside lights at a certain time so it was pitch black outside until morning. That was very inconvenient when my phone died, we needed baby things and charger from the care in the middle of the night but that was not possible. Only issue that we had with cleanliness was the old moldy sponge that had a stench. After my family and I continue the vacation, I received notice that there was spilled water on the bed that my daughter slept on. This I did not find out until a day or so later after reading Lee's message to me. After a little questioning, I got to the bottom of it. So for that we greatly apologize for giving the owner a heads up.

We always like to guide our 1st time guests to their room out of hospitality. We do have self check-in if you prefer that. We do have quiet times but that does not mean you are restricted to your room. You can come and go as you please. It states in our policies posted in your room to use lower voices and quiet door closing after 10pm. Our outdoor patio lights go off at a midnight but we have porch lights you can turn on, solar deck lights that stay on all night, and a strong security light by where you parked your car. I will make sure housekeeping removes sponges. There was dupposed to be a clean dish cloth left on your sink. The sponge is not our standard proceedure. Regarding the wet bed. We contacted you immediately the day of check out and you have never responded to my messages or my text messages, yet, we communicated consistently before your check-in. Thank you for your feedback and we will use it to better serve our guests.
