Cottage by the creek, beautiful Mountain View, perfect getaway!!!

Our cottage rests between two mountains with a creek view where you can find some peace and quiet. So much beauty you can’t hardly take it all in. The cottage features a patio to entertain and star gaze, gas fire pit, gas grill, fully equipped kitchen, queen bed, washer/dryer, WiFi and beautiful front porch perfect for bird watching or just relaxing! The cottage is perfect for a solo adventure or a couple looking for a quiet getaway. We are located near Scottsboro(40 mins), Huntsville and Winchester,Tn (50 mins). Close proximity to the Walls of Jericho and Skyline wildlife management area.

Excellent Little Cottage

I was there for a short business trip. I enjoyed my stay. It was secluded, but that does not bother me at all. Will stay here again if I'm back in the area.

PERFECT WEEKEND GETAWAY

VERY nice and clean property! Small but beautiful cottage that was perfect for my husband and I. Private with beautiful views including the 3 deer grazing in the front yard upon our arrival. We loved it and highly recommend it!!!

Excellent Cottage, Excellent Area, Dark Skies!

I was celebrating my 20th wedding anniversary and also spent some time with my photography telescopes in the beautiful dark skies! Already trying to figure out when I can come back!Cabin was immaculately clean on arrival.

The location of the property was great. It was exactly what my wife and i were looking for to get away for a long weekend. We sadly had to cut our trip short because of a bug problem. The owner was absolutely amazing and understanding. She refunded the rest of the stay. I'm sad we were not able to stay the whole weekend but the bug issue made that hard to do. I am very grateful that the owner was understanding and issued a refund for the time that we were not able to spend there.

The home is very comfortable. I enjoyed the view from the front porch . It was the perfect place for me to rest after a very tiring 4 months.

Fantastic rural getaway

My husband & I loved our stay here. Very cozy & cute! We loved being away from everything for a long weekend in the middle of nowhere! Easy back road trip to Lynchburg, TN to Jack Daniel’s distillery one day & a great day long hike to see the Walls of Jericho another day. Great way to unplug for a weekend!

A perfect cabin in a perfect place

My wife probably summed up our stay at this cabin for our 21st anniversary best when she told me, "This is perfect! This is the best anniversary gift ever. No matter what you do, you'll never be able to top this place - ever again!"

A genuine getaway and absolutely awesome!

If you need a place to unwind, unplug, relax and take a break from being busy, this is the place for you! It was beautiful, peaceful and simple! Kinda like going back in time to a place where life wasn’t so complicated and stressful. We loved it and can’t wait to go back in the fall!

Get away

The nature around the cabin was fabulous. So, so quiet and the dark nights for star gazing was exactly what we wanted. The cabin was impeccably clean. It was a shame we couldn't us the fire ring. Heat wave was strong but thoroughly enjoyed the front porch morning hang out

We attend an event in the area every year. The owner of this property also owns a larger VRBO property next door. We have rented both over the last few years. This year we decided to stay in the smaller home for the second time. It meets our needs with a galley kitchen, small dining area, and comfortable bedding and living room furniture. The owner is a friendly and responds quickly to messages.

Checking out Alabama.

Everything as advertised. And they weren’t kidding when they say you’ll lose cell service. Navigation is tricky with cell phone or a Garmin. And you’ll run into some dead ends that doesn’t register on a Garmin or cell phone (Google Maps). Bring groceries to last your stay. If you want to stay in the mountains and relax and unwind great place to do it. Oh and yes there’s internet!

a retreat from reality

This little cabin is in a remote rural area but has most of the comforts of home! Bring everything you need and never have to leave. Great for rest, solitude, bird watching, and reconnecting with yourself. I would absolutely book again!!

Birthday get away

Pleasantly surprised. Everything in listing was as promised. I expected a “Mr. Coffee ” so I brought my own Keurig, only to find a Keurig there! I brought a hand mixer to whip up my birthday dessert- to my surprise there was one there. Beautiful, quiet. Can’t wait to go back!

Estillfork Cottage near Gray's Chapel Community Center

We were in town to attend an event at the Gray's Chapel Community Center. The location was perfect! The cottage is as pictured on Vrbo. It is very clean and beautifully decorated with a picture-perfect view of the mountains. We would prefer more space in the bedroom and more storage space.

Just perfect!

The cottage was a perfect quick getaway for my husband and I. The area is quiet and even though you can see the road, there were not many cars that went through the whole weekend. The drive in from Huntsville was just beautiful, even in the rain. The owners have thought of everything you could need during your stay with a very well stocked kitchen. All the furniture was comfortable and well maintained, very clean throughout, and beautifully decorated. Owners were responsive to the one question I had and check in/out was a breeze. Will absolutely stay again!

Wonderful Anniversary getaway

Had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing 18th Anniversary weekend at this cottage .Thank you so much for allowing us to stay here everything was just perfect ! Very clean,cute and cozy with beautiful views !! Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay .
